The literal translation of the title of this movie is: Dawning.

This movie is roughly the Chinese version of One hour photo (2002). The movie is mixture of social criticism and the reflection of reality in that both are depicted accurately, based on the true story that really happened in real life.

The problem of stalking is a new crime in the new era and when the actual incident happened in real life, the suspect was not punished for stalking because back then, there was no law against stalking and stalking was the only thing he did. The hidden message of this movie is the urge of the need to establish the law about new crimes such as stalking.
