Gripping and interesting

A western drama by Tom Mix, featuring Tom Mix as the sheriff. It is filled with the usual riding and shooting, etc., embracing a theme of love, which gives a certain amount of interest. The concluding scenes develop a surprise, that is probably antagonistic to the average spectator's supposition of the final termination. The sheriff is loyal to his duty, regardless of personal feelings. It is gripping and interesting throughout. - The Moving Picture World, November 14, 1914
