Has anyone else seen this?

I was 9 years old when I first saw this program on CBFT Chan 2 in Montreal.It was in french and I was an english kid. I remember it had amazing theme music and sound effects.I recall very little happened,a robot(Oscar) would stand around doing nothing for minutes on end,accompanied by a lot of strange noises. Then he would shuffle off to be replaced by an alien in a shiny suit who cursed alot. The set had one of those huge spirals in the background. It was either live or on film and there are no references to it anywhere other than the IMDB. IF there is someone out there who remembers it as well, E-mail me by all means. AND if you have the theme music,well......!!
