When Nikolaj and Julie meet, they immediately know that they have met the one and only. They fall in love, their love grows, and then things happen quickly - with a wedding, a dream house, a dream child and all. But then the difficult everyday life begins, where they have to shop, pick up a child and take care of their careers. It is not going to be as easy for Nikolaj and Julie as they expect - and suddenly Nikolaj is terrified that his life is going to fall apart, because Julie is the woman in his life.

Julie has moved out of home after Nikolaj cheated on her with his ex-girlfriend. But Nikolaj tries to convince both himself and Julie that as long as they love each other, nothing else matters - they just have to figure out how to move on. But Julie isn't sure she even wants to move on with Nikolaj - he's panicking and willing to do anything to get Julie back. Luckily, Julie agrees to give their marriage another chance, under certain conditions.

Nikolaj has to face the fact that Julie has really left him - and now she wants a divorce. Frank and Karina try to help with good advice and comfort - but instead of help, it becomes the start of problems for them. And then the dream house has to be sold, even though Nikolaj can't stand the thought and does what he can to prevent it in every way - and he is still convinced that Julie will return to him.

Nikolaj and Julie have agreed on the practicalities of their separation - but then there's Emma. When Nikolaj realizes that he won't get much time with Emma, he's completely stuck. They have to try to find an arrangement - and it's going to be difficult for everyone. Nikolaj is grossly neglecting his work at the agency, so Philip in particular is starting to get into the habit of bonding - on top of that, Philip is having a completely different experience with a girl than he's used to.

Nikolaj and Julie are trying to get their lives and their relationship with each other under control after their separation. It doesn't get any easier when Julie and Søs' mother comes home from a long trip and does what she can to interfere. Real estate agent Stefan clearly shows more than professional interest in Julie - and Julie is not completely unaffected by his advances. Philip is absolutely crazy about his new girlfriend and experiences something he has never experienced before - while Frank and Karina have to try to deal with a difficult problem.

Julie has become Stefan's girlfriend and enjoys being pampered and partying. Nikolaj tries to convince himself that he's okay - and drowns himself in work when he's not with Emma. Frank and Karina try to support Nikolaj as best they can. Karina goes a little further and arranges a date for him, while Nikolaj himself has another idea. Philip is still madly in love with Iben, but gets cold feet when he suddenly has to meet her friends and family.

It's been a few months since Nikolaj and Julie broke up. Now it's Emma's birthday, and of course it needs to be celebrated - but how? At the same time, Julie decides that it's time for Stefan to meet Emma and her friends. In the middle of it all, Nikolaj has to go to London to bring some business home - he promises to be back home for the birthday party, but then there's a problem with the gift. Philip runs into another conflict with Iben, while Frank has to try to explain something to Jonatan about the adults.

Stefan is very much in love and wants to move in with Julie, the sooner the better. Julie is hesitant at first - but then the big moving race begins. Nikolaj has a very special experience with a very special woman and gains a new and brighter view of some important things. Søs is increasingly gaining influence over the tasks at the agency and is busy, while at the same time trying to navigate a disruptive guy.
