One of the best arcade games I have ever played

CRUIS'N USA, in my opinion, is one of the best arcade games I have ever played. Even though I haven't owned a Nintendo Wii for very long, I enjoy it very much. In addition, even though I've never beaten the game, I enjoy the game very much as well, even though I've never owned the game. However, when and if this game is made available for download on the Nintendo Wii, this is one game that's definitely going to be on my list. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that the people at know how to keep video game fanatics entertained. Now, in conclusion, if you're a video game fanatic, this is definitely one you'll want to play and own.

Great game! I enjoy playing it!

The game is a great racer and you really have to avoid traffic. I think the Need for Speed guys might have been inspired by this game, because both games are killer! If you have Windows 7 or below, download the Project 64 emulator (which works on 8/8.1) and the anaglyph driver from http://www.iz3d.com and you will be able to play the game in 3D on ANY screen, regardless of whether or not it supports 3D! I'd suggest getting the game and emulator from http://coolrom.com/roms/n64/1082/Cruis%27n_USA.php to ensure that both are virus-free. I am not in any way affiliated with either CoolROM or Project 64, I am just a big fanatic!

    • Trivia
The Nintendo 64 version contains various bits of censorship: There are no animals to run over; the trophy presenter at the end of the race wears a dress and T-shirt instead of a dress and bikini; the ending omits Bill Clinton in a truck hot tub with bikini babes on top of the White House, and instead features a rotating car on top of the White House.
    • Goofs
On the LA Freeway level, there's a freeway sign near the beginning of the level which Indicates Interstate 10 South Los Angeles. In reality, interstate 10 uses the directions east and west and not north and south.

Cruis'n'Vocals: [singing] Cruising yeah! Cruising USA yeah! Yeah! Whoa oh oh! Whoa whoa whoa oh!

    • Alternate versions
The original Arcade has many features that were taken out of the Nintendo 64 release which includes the following.
      • This game requires quarters to play the game.
      • The player literally could sit in the drivers seat and drive with a steering wheel and shaft stick just like driving a car.
      • The opening theme song sings "Cruis'n USA yeah!"
      • The Corn pops cereal ad is featured on the Billboard.
      • The Manuel drive is called XL Powershaft
      • The sexy trophy girl is wearing a revealing bikini as she holds the trophy out, also the sexy woman is seen waving a checked flag at the start of each race wearing a bikini outfit.
      • The player runs the risk of crashing into deer and cows crossing the road in which causes the animals to decapitate into bloody body parts. The player can also crash into other cars which don't get smashed up.
      • In the Washington DC race, while the player goes into the tunnel, there are hundred dollar bills featuring Hillary Clinton smoking a cigarette.
      • The original ending featured a President in a hot tub with 2 sexy women in bikinis in the hot tub and sexy women dancing in bikinis.
