Jesus of Nazareth

i especially liked the part where he walks on the water.It's of course a silent movie but it visually tells you what we hear today. i think its one of the few movies showing an actor playing Jesus walking on the water,i'll have to review again this picture and add more comments.Well for a movie made in 1928 ,i liked it.

This movie really is awful. It could only be for the most religious of viewers. Some, like myself, will have difficulty understanding the inter-titles as they are taken direct from the Bible. This film is from 1928 but although it is available in an excellent condition print, it looks like a film from the early 1910s. Too much contrast. I have over 500 silent films in my collection and this is one of the few films that I have binned. I suffered it for about 45 minutes but I gave up. There is nothing to keep you interested, rather like a Charles Dickens book!. Boring, tedious and a waste of 80 minutes. I regret wasting my hard earned cash on this video. If you need to see a movie featuring 'Jesus', though not in person, try 'Intolerance'.

Yes! really it manipulates people and even the actor has taken a large part in most of the Christian's pictures wherever seen, even people respect the image of the actor. not only that it has been even translated into many languages spoken to the world and still is translated by different media people so as to reach the total massage in it its very interesting and a lot of amazing effect manipulated people and made them to believe and respect i.e. when Jesus was ascending to heaven, walking on water and when he was nailed on the cross without forgetting when he was stroked some several sticks its good and still remains new each and every day:
