Goofs
The Ringstraße seen in the Vienna levels did not yet exist at the time when the first part of the game is set (1143). In its place there should have been the city walls.

Alternate versions
Due to Activision wanting a more commercial friendly USK-12 rating in Germany, the game's German version was censored to completely remove the blood and gore from the game. Also dead vampires no longer leave skeletons behind neither.
