    a goofy, goofy movie

this was one of the most idiotic movie I have seen in quite some time. My brothers friend picked this up at the local Movie Gallery where he was working and brought it over one night. I was bored and didn't mind watching a "bad" movie as they put it. I didn't know how bad it was; terrible acting, terrible script, terrible everything. From the first 3 minutes of this debacle I knew that this garbage was one of a kind... the basic "story" of this movie is that there is this great basketball player that gets befriended by some drug dealer/murderer/David Bowie look a like and his coach tries to stop this before its too late. Terrible from start to finish. There are some truly retarded scenes and some truly bad lines from these so called actors, when you see them and hear the lines you will know what I am talking about. Its actually a good way to waste time... thats... thats about it.

    "Hoosiers" meets "Death Wish"

Now I am not saying this is a good movie, but it definitely teeters on the edge of so bad it's good territory. When you have basketballs changing color on their way to the basket, cops shot at point blank range without even noticing a gun in their face, coach stealing not one but two cops guns which never run out of ammo, miraculous next day recovery from brain damage, ballistic matches that are disregarded as evidence, and it goes on and on. Bad acting, worse editing, and even worse continuity, confirm "Death Game" might have entertainment value as a lovable bomb. The presence of slimy Billy Drago and Richard Lynch only adds to the fun. - MERK

Horendous Drivel from Start to Finish

I decided to watch this, after spotting the "NEW CANNON INC" logo on the box and was curious to the contents. All I can say is if you thought some of the "OLD CANNON" films were bad, you ain't seen nothing yet!!

Firstly, I think the Director and producer forgot to advertise for "ACTORS" for this masterpiece and must have popped down the local skate park/mall instead. The story is beyond ludicrous, include acting so wooden, you end up picking splinters out of your eyes, not to mention the grotesque rape scene, which borders on violent porn of the worst kind. Add Billy Drago and Richard Lynch into the mix and you have a cinematic crapfest of truly epic proportions.
