Jane Talent is looking for her father. As she moves up to the next town to search for clues, a picture of the man comes in. She's traveling by stagecoach with Pete Morrison, who's carrying money for the mining company. They are attacked by bandits and driven to a small cabin, where Miss Talent recognizes the man on a wanted poster, one of the bandits that have trapped her here, is her father.
The two-reeler was a place for Universal to look around for their next cowboy star, and for a while it looked like Morrison would be the next big one. But with the coming of sound he dropped into the uncredited, generic parts in westerns, like "barfly" and "henchman #2". His last screen appearance was in 1935. He died in 1973 at the age of 82.
