I had the misfortune of watching this bastardized version of "The Weakest Link" when I was recently in America. The reason the British version of "The Weakest Link" works so well, is because Anne Robinson is W-I-T-T-Y and she uses that wit to actually make funny, albeit caustic comments. That's something, perhaps, the Americans do not understand, seeing as they've replaced her acerbic comments with such amusing and intelligent remarks as:
"Who is the mould in your Chinese take-out?"
Yes. How hilarious...
Someone stab me.

First off, I must say that this is a good remake of a fun game show. Also, I'm not sure if I've seen every episode. However, I do know the show very well. Every time I've watched it, I had a lot of fun playing along and watch. This made me long to be a contestant. The thing I liked most about it are the questions. Despite the fact that I don't know that many answers, I still have fun playing along. I hope the Game Show Network keeps it on so I can play along and watch again. If that happens, I will be really happy. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that I'll always remember this show in my memory forever. Now, in conclusion, I hope that you catch it one day before it goes off the air for good.
For those who absolutely HATED the NBC version of "The Weakest Link", you'll probably enjoy the syndicated, 30 minute version of the imported game show, and there's reasons why you probably will.
First off, Ann Robinson doesn't host this version. Instead, we have George Gray as our host, and let me tell you, George is a WAY BETTER host than Ann Robinson is, and he's extremely funny (something Ann Robinson is not), and is quite enjoyable to watch. Heck I think he should host the other version too (If they still make episodes of that version)! The ratings would probably be better if he hosted that version as well.
This version of "The Weakest Link" gets a 10/10 for George Gray.

The show is not nearly the show that the original Weakest Link was. Anne Robinson's insults and snide remarks made this show what it was. There is something about this new host (George Gray) that really ticks me off. I cant see this show lasting too much longer with this new guy there, but I guess only time will tell. The show has definitely gone downhill since they made George Gray the host, and the only reason the show was ever funny in the first place was because of the b**ch.
I miss the Anne Robinson version of "The Weakest Link." This daytime syndicated version with George Gray is nice (and he /is/ cute) but I prefered Anne's dry wit to George's bad attempt at humour. Please bring back the hour long version of "Weakest Link" with Anne Robinson, even if you have to import it!!!
