A LANDMARK TELENOVELA

Perhaps one of the best serials of all time, a unique joint production of Televisión Independiente de México and Perú, with an international Hispanic cast, magnificent scoring by Hermanos Zavala, beautiful locations, intense drama and unforgettable characters. It's a terrible misfortune that no network has ever been wise enough to rerun it. Even worse, an embarrassing remake found its way some years ago and bastardized what was an epical tale, a family saga of colorful nuances and eye popping twists. They didn't make them like this and will never again.
