    Must be seen

This was a great film. The acting is truly excellent, you will love the characters. The Snowflake Crusade attempts to delve once again into the question, "What makes a person who they are?". While the theme is not new, the writer has an excellent sense of humor that makes it seem fresh.

Do whatever you have to, but see the film!

    Fantastic indy film.

I would recommend this to all that have a chance to see this film. This is the first feature film from Megan Holley and she really hits the ground running. The story is of Clive, the scion of the man who ended world hunger. He has been in and out of institutional care. He has created a fantasy camp known as "Camp Twoame" to supplement the shock therapy he received. He meets Marigold after he is discharged from the hospital because of lack of room. He meets her at his new job at Debtcon (a debt collection firm). Things go well until a stamp of Clive's sire comes out and Clive begins his self-destructive ways.

The best scenes in this movie are between Clive and Marigold. Believable and touching is the buzzword between these two. If you get a chance, go see this movie!

    Clever Critique of Corporate Conformity

A SUPERB first film for Richmond independent film maker Megan Holley. Set in Richmond, Virginia in the year 2045, Holley's film is, on the surface, a film about Clive the clone of a deceased Nobel Prize winning food geneticist, and Clive's rebellious but tragic search for his own authentic identity. There's even a little platonic love story - one of the few in film. Viewers who revel in a good story will enjoy this funny, quirky, thoughtful film.

However the more attentive viewer can come away from this movie seeing the cloned Nathan Clive Barclay as a "wise fool", and potentially heroic rather than simply a clichéd young rebel. Like Holden Caulfield, Clive sees through the phony facades available to him and rejects them. Holley's film is a clever critique of the pervasive but hidden violence of corporate cultural conditioning – the violence of being commodified, pushed into a mold and pressured to take on an inauthentic identity and unsatisfying life.
