surprised and loved it

I moved to Louisville about two months ago and am still learning the town. Saw this movie by accident (came to see something else and saw a bunch of people going to see it) and, spur of the moment, bought a ticket. Wasn't expecting much, especially when the director, some local Louisville guy, got up and introduced it. But man...fun movie. Looked great, made me laugh, and had a ending that was oddly funny and moving. A real 'sleeper' as the critics say. The music soundtrack was great and I really loved seeing the guy from Dazed and Confused all grown up. He was especially terrific. Made me sort of fall in love with my new home town. The filmmakers said this was going to be on DVD this summer. I'm buying.

Trivia
Technically, a prequel to Archie Borders' first film, Reception to Follow (1995). Many of the same characters (Morgan, Carly, Chuck, Brad Mullaney) appear in "Reception," and 'Charles Ellis', who played Morgan in "Reception" has a cameo in "Paper Cut." Charles Sexton also appears in both films, (as different characters) and 'William Schulte' reprises his role from "Reception."
