    Surprise ending

In the beginning of the film, commuters and tourists on the streets in New York City suddenly fall down to the ground one after another. This opening is eye catching. I wondered what will happen next and why.

An interesting thing about this movie is that film makers gave the dull protagonist an element of horror. He does not intend to kill somebody but he does anyway for his own good. Moreover, because people do not pay much attention to such a dense person, nobody notice what causes this kind of supernatural. The feeling of terror is even more emphasized by the siren of ambulances echoing all over the city. First audiences hear simple siren noises, but when they hear them in the last of the film, there are two types of noises mixed; noises of siren and applause. By the contrast of beginning at the end, the director succeeds in messing viewers' mind; you would feel like laugh at the ridiculous cause of death as well as be horrified by the innocent murderer.

    Unpleasant

The opening scene in this movie is terrifying. People in the street fall one after another. I don't know what is happening. I'm surprised at this unexpected event. A black and white movie scares me, suggesting that is the story of a bloody murder. However, the ending scene isn't as expected. I don't understand why that movie goes on in that way. I don't know the feeling of that man. I could understand if he revenged himself on those who bully him. I don't think that he should be hard on those who have nothing to do with him. His judgment is wrong and selfish. No one becomes happy. I wonder why he looks satisfied. That movie leaves a bad aftertaste. It is unpleasant.

    wow...

    *this review may contain spoilers*

I would like to talk about"Whacked!". The sirens of police cars, and some people are lying on the road. This is the first scene of the movie, from which it is difficult for me and you to understand what happened. A man works for a golf course gathering many many golf balls using a car. Some people playing golf pitch balls to him or his car. Then his face clouds over. I think he builds up stress little by little, by pitching people. Finally, when he is about to finish his work, a golf ball flies by him. I would be angry and pitch back the ball if I were in his place. But he do nothing, just leaves there with some balls. In the last scene, he arrives at a roof of a building, and then he starts to play golf. He swings at balls and balls fly away downtown. One ball hits a man and he falls down. After a time, there is the sirens of police cars, and some people lying on the road. I was surprised and interested in the movie, especially its idea. I hope he could manage to get away from police.

    whacked

This is a movie with no dialogue, only an image and music, so we need to guess intension of a story from the images. This is the story of a man who work in a driving range and pick up golf balls. There is change of scene. In a town, many people is walking. Suddenly, one people collapses on the spot because something hits her, no people, something. This thing repeats and some people is knoked by something. At last, we understand what thing hit many people had. It is a golf ball. Why we understand it that a golf ball rolls across a road after people collapse. There is change of scene. A man who work in a driving range hit a golf ball from the roof top to the town! Finally we understand that people collapsed on the spot being hit by a ball hit by a man. I was surprised by a sincerity and this movie makes me nervous and interesting.

    Whacked

After the movie, other people said this movie is disgusting. The cause is the character's act is like a psychopath. Surely his revenge way is not common sense, but I sympathize with his anger. He is unfairly treatment at his work place. One day he stressed out his works and takes revenge on society. I was surprised by the revenge, because his revenge way is simple but nobody can find evidence. This film don't use dialogue, but his revenge scene uses sounds of applause. This effect makes that is little different from normal sense. I enjoyed this movie because this story is not real. That point is a good point one of this movie.
