I saw this train wreck under the title Hustle and Heat, it is listed here as Ride or Die, either way it is a horribly, written acted, and directed mess!!

Duane Martin, Bivaca A Fox and Megan Goode are actors who will NEVER make it off the "B" list in Hollywood!

This was almost 2 hour Rap Video!! Just pitiful!!

I remember having watched the 2003 action crime movie "Ride or Die" (aka "Hustle and Heat") once before. But I have to admit that I couldn't recall a single thing from the movie, aside from the cover. So as I had the opportunity to watch it again here in 2022, I did exactly that.

Writers Duane Martin and Jay Wolcott didn't exactly write a particularly outstanding script here for the movie. Sure, "Ride or Die" was watchable, but it just wasn't a noteworthy or memorable movie. It felt, for a lack of better words, bland.

While the movie is not all that great, there are some pretty good talents on the cast list, with the likes of Vivica A. Fox, Daniel Dae Kim, Miranda Kwok and Stacey Dash.

What makes "Ride or Die" watchable is the amount of action, gunfights and fight scenes that director Craig Ross Jr. Had crammed into the movie.

My rating of "Ride or Die" lands on a four out of ten stars. There are far better action crime movies readily available out there.

The movie trailer convinced me to ignore the negative reviews and jump straight into the film to see for myself... But IF you are unable to access the trailer, then it would be wise to judge this production yourself, just as I did. You won't be disappointed.

The story is simple yet it has plenty twists and turns, along with slices of humour popping up as you go. Indeed, I found it touching that basically, we have a private investigator intent on tracking down the murderer of his best friend.

From start to finish, I found myself wholly absorbed.by the action sequences or dramatic scenes displayed on the screen. What a shame if I had passed up this film just on the say-so of all those bad reviews!!

I felt truly entertained by the entire script.

This is truly an underrated gem.

I love Vivica Fox. I love Meagan Good. I love Gabrielle Union. I hate this film. The plot holes are so enormous, you're left wondering if the writer/star has escaped from a mental institution and is holding hostage the loved ones of Ms. Fox, Ms. Good, and Ms. Union. There is simply no other way to explain why they appeared in this mess. The ending is highly original - in a highly bad way. If you enjoy this film, seek a health care professional at once. You may be experiencing hallucinations that make you feel this is watchable.

Alternatively, you may want to simply hit the pause button whenever any of the three aforementioned women appear on screen. Staring at any of them is going to provide you with a far better time than you could ever have actually watching the film.

In fairness, Ms. Fox gives an entertaining performance. Also in fairness, the film is still revolting.

I loved seeing Duane Martin star in Hustle and Heat. The movie was not only funny but was an action packed thriller.Duane did a very good job at writing this script. Whoever didn't enjoy the film is just a hater and I'm sure every one else will enjoy it.I rented it from the movie store at least five times. My father even enjoyed it and he doesn't like any of the movies my sister and I watch.This film is far from bad and I think it should be released in theaters because I know that many people will like it . I didn't know that Duane Martin was such a good writer he is extremely talented and versatile. Hustle and Heat only made me like Duane Martin more because he played the role as Rad very well.
