      This movie was remade in color in 1964, again directed by Henry Barakat using the same script. Given the title 'Amir el Dahaa' (Prince of Craftiness), the 1964 remake starred Farid Shawki as the lead man. Also starring in the remake were Shweikar and Mahmoud Azmy with dance performances by Naima Akef.
