In the year 1996 Günther Jauch canceled his contract at short notice. ZDF had to find someone new very quickly and selected Wolf von Lojewski and Holger Weinert as co-hosts. This was a temporary solution, in 1997 Johannes B. Kerner became the new regular host of the show.
