Not living up to the spirit

I watched this series from day 1 and never missed an episode and I find myself rather disappointed with the approach they took with this series. The preceded series introduced cards which sort of made it weird but now the kids transforming is just I dare say it blasphemy in the Digimon universe. Basically what Im trying to say it doesn't make sense and it broke all the rules the first 2 seasons set and done it very poorly. In the transformations there are no levels like Rookie, Champion, Ultimate or the very favourite Mega but what makes it worse is now when they beat people up they scan people like grocery tags. they even scan the terrain. last I checked the Digital world doesn't get destroyed by a bar code scanner. All in all like I said I was sorely disappointed by this series

    Season Four of the series..

This series has recently began to air in Japan. I, myself, have watched most of it. The main people are (Last Name, First Name) Kanbara Takuya, Minamoto Kouji, Orimoto Izumi, Shibayama Junpei, and Himi Tomoki. This time, they themselves turn into Digimon.

This is a pretty good series, and I really like it. I hope it doesn't get ignored beings there has been so many different seasons of Digimon, people think it's old, I hope people like it, because I, myself, enjoyed it very much.

If you're in the Americas, watch for it this fall. I really suggest you watch it when it comes to the U.S., because any TRUE Digimon fan would...

Very Underrated, Who didn't want to become a Digimon?!

This season was the least liked even more than 02, but i think it's not fair first of all, the English version is trash that's where probably some of the hate came from and the fact that there are no Digimon partners, but what kid who loved Digimon didn't dream about becoming one, i know i did back when Digimon was new we used to play allot pretending to be Digimons during school breaks it was fun doing so, yes it's a shame there are no partners but this season wanted to be based upon kids fantaisies of becoming a Digimon themselves and fighting bad guys which makes it special, at least that's what i think the makers of the show had in mind for this season. Frontier was also like all the others season's mixed in a blender with some added new things, we get countless cameos of the previous Digimons and even there was one who was a mix between a centaour Digimon Lighdramon and Flamedramon that was really cool. Again we have some amazing intro and outro songs by the late Kouji Wada and Aim even a colab between them in the outro of the second part of the season "An Endless Tale". Back in the day i didn't got much the chance to watch this season fully like the others, it aired in a different channel and it was between 07:30 or early 08:00 and we used to wake up right after it ended we just caught a few episodes when we had the chance to wake up early and finally after 16 years has an adult Digimon was able to return to my life again by purchasing the whole series and was able to watch this season until the end. Btw DO NOT!! Watch any of the seasons in English the American dubs are trash and it feels completely like a different series, watch it in Japanese subtitled. Anyway im glad to have watched this season.

The storyline is better and resembles that of RPG games, but the sprites are not particularly memorable

This installment had a promising start, much like its predecessor, but it felt rushed towards the end. As a result, pacing has always been an issue for me with this franchise.

The intro and outro songs were decent, but not particularly memorable. The character designs, especially for the Digimon, were underwhelming compared to the previous series, though they still have a unique charm in this version. The designs remind me more of RPG characters than traditional Digimon sprites.

One aspect I enjoyed more than in previous installments was the storyline and the adventure elements, which reminded me of Digimon 02, my favorite series. The characters were very likable, and the voice cast was excellent.

I would definitely recommend this series, although it seems more suited for an older audience compared to its predecessor.

    It was great!

I actually found it really great, even though it was different, there were lots of great things about it...

EG: like they were the ones having to make the important decisions, which meant they had to work together more, I actually thought it's one of the best seasons!!!

Also, it is really exciting as well, some parts I couldn't stop watching, i really do hope they make it like that again cos it was awesome.

I'm not sure if that goes with other people, but it was just a really really great season!
