Each Voldemort actor in the Harry Potter franchise portrayed different stages of the dark wizard's life and transformations. The evolution of Voldemort's character required different actors to show various versions from childhood to full power. With the Harry Potter universe getting a reboot, more performers will join the list of Voldemort actors in the future.
Every Lord Voldemort actor throughout the Harry Potter movies and beyond has had a certain purpose in bringing the evil wizard to life. Initially spoken of in hushed tones only, Harry Potter introduces the legend of Voldemort in its very first book, depicting a dark, fearsome wizard who terrorized the magic world, only to be defeated while attempting to kill a young Harry Potter. That led to various versions of Voldemort appearing throughout the franchise, meaning seven actors played He Who Must Not Be Named in various movies.

Film and TV audiences have long been fascinated by the lurid idea of a high-stakes game, one so important that, if you lose, it costs you not merely your reputation but also your life. Whether it's the lethal confrontations between rival gunslingers in spaghetti Westerns or sci-fi dystopias like Rollerball or The Hunger Games, right up to Squid Game's remarkable global success, it seems that the notion of playing for keeps is one that never fails to stimulate the popular imagination.
Such is the central plot point of Lead Heads, a new British thriller due to debut on the big screen very soon. Here's what we know about the project so far.
Plot
Plot details for Lead Heads remain scarce, but whereas Squid Game had people in desperate debt playing fatal games for the voyeuristic pleasure of bored billionaires, Lead Heads looks set to take a more pragmatic approach.

Benedict Cumberbatch has proven himself one of the most versatile actors working, but how do his films rank from worst to best? This Academy Award-nominated actor may have hit some snags in his career, but overall, he boasts a filmography as varied and versatile as his talents. Benedict began his career on the British stage before transitioning into television, breaking out in a big way with 2010's Sherlock, a show for which he's been nominated for four Emmy Awards, finally winning one in 2014. That show's popularity gave rise to a Cumberbatch fandom, and soon the actor found himself a fixture in multiple franchises, eventually donning the cloak of Doctor Strange in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Cumberbatch seems to have had little trouble transitioning from franchise fare to serial television to prestige cinema. Whether playing Star Trek's wrathful Khan or The Hobbit's dragon Smaug, he's an actor who radiates both intelligence and warmth,...

What do we say to the god of death? Eat this.
It wasn’t the once and future king Jon Snow who took down the Night King and ended the years-in-the-making assault of the dead against the living. It wasn’t the Queen of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen or the Three-Eyed Raven Bran Stark or “the Imp” Tyrion Lannister. With a last-ditch jump and a dagger to the gut, Arya Stark reached the moment she’s been training for practically her whole young life and did exactly what needed to be done,...

House of Cards will air on UKTV's Drama from Saturday (July 12) - but the star of this four-part serial is not Kevin Spacey's ruthless Us official Frank Underwood, but rather Tory chief whip Francis Urquhart, played with charming malevolence by Ian Richardson.
Adapted by Andrew Davies - writer of Mr Selfridge, Pride and Prejudice and many more - from Michael Dobbs's original novel, the UK iteration of House of Cards was a smash hit on both sides of the Atlantic. Scoring BAFTA and Emmy wins in the early '90s, it went on to inspire the acclaimed Netflix series.
"I feel flattered that Netflix chose to reconstruct it," says Davies. "And I'm delighted that ours has been rediscovered, and that it's going to be shown again on Drama."

Comics publisher Valiant have teamed up with Cinefix for a unique way of launching their new title, Unity, by releasing an 8-bit trailer setting up the series’ plot.
This isn’t the first time Valiant have had an 8-bit cover as earlier this year they used the same style to promote their Harbinger Wars titles, however the 2 and a half minute video (which can be seen below) is their first fully animated variant cover. A code will appear on issues of Unity #1 that, when scanned by your smartphone, will play the video.
The trailer, which takes its visual cue from the Nes classic Super Mario Bros. 3, features the superhero cast of X-o Manowar, Toyo Harada, Eternal Warrior, Ninjak, and Livewire as they prepare for the crossover story Unity. The series concept is summarised as:
To kill a king…he has created an army. The world’s most dangerous man, Toyo Harada,...

On November 13th, Valiant’s most uncompromising heroes will unite for the very first time – in all-new ongoing series titled “Unity”. The upcoming series will be written by New York Times best-selling writer Matt Kindt (Mind Mgmt, Justice League of America) with illustrative duties falling on artist Doug Braithwaite (Justice, Journey Into Mystery) and colorist Brian Reber (Harbinger Wars, Shadowman).
To kill a king…he has created an army. The world’s most dangerous man, Toyo Harada, has been struck by the one thing he never thought possible – fear. Halfway across the globe, a new power threatens to topple modern civilization and, to preempt the cataclysm that is to come, Harada will unite the most lethal, most volatile, most unforgiving team the world has ever known – Unity. Their mission: defeat the warrior king armed with the universe’s most powerful weapon. Kill X-o Manowar!

It's a good day to be Ben Wheatley. The director, who's become one of the most talked-about new directors around thanks to "Down Terrace" and "Kill List," is making his Cannes debut today with his dark, Edgar Wright-exec-produced comedy "Sightseers" -- a press screening is underway as we speak, and we'll have our verdict for you later this evening. And just as that film is released into the wild, Wheatley seems to have landed financing for his most ambitious project yet, and is planning yet another film to follow that.
According to Screen Daily, Film4, which was partially behind both "Kill List" and "Sightseers," has decided to reteam with Wheatley on "Freakshift," a cops vs. monsters movie which the filmmaker will direct next year. The company is currently looking for co-financing on the project, which will see the director working on his biggest canvas to date. Screen Daily don't...

*full disclosure: an online copy of this CD was provided by Menton3 or their associates.
If the comic book "Monocyte" ever received an animated theatrical treatment, and the producers are stuck as to who should create the soundtrack, not many musicians will be up to the challenge. DJ Shadow and Portishead’s style is appropriate, and that's where this music gets its inspiration from, but others may not live up to conjuring forth the same surrealistic imagery created by artist Menton3.
Appropriately enough, he also has a band, Saltillo; the music they create invokes feelings of trooping down the carnal remains of the beast whilst guarded by an angelic maestro.
The album is simply called "Monocyte." The project is described as trip-hop electronic meets violin and cello. Easy listeners may think more of it as symphonic meets industrial electronica. The acoustics certainly conjures forth imagery of strolling through techno-organic matter.

Scott's Mother Slams Bond Rumors
Scottish actor Dougray Scott's mother has slammed reports her son is to play the next James Bond. The To Kill A King hunk, 38, was rumored to have beaten King Arthur star Clive Owen and Hulk actor Eric Bana to replace Pierce Brosnan in the 23rd Bond movie, after discussions with producer Barbara Broccoli. But Scott's mother, Elma Scott, says, "My other son David contacted him about the latest reports and he said it's not true. He has other commitments, so there is certainly nothing to say at the moment." Scott has just announced plans to do a film titled The Cone Gatherer, scheduled for release next year, in which he plays an objector to the Second World War who is sent to work on a country estate in Scotland.

Dougray Scott To Play Bond?
British actor Dougray Scott has reportedly beaten off competition from actors, Eric Bana, Ioan Gruffud and Clive Owen to replace Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. The To Kill A King hunk, 38, clinched the role after discussions with Bond producer Barbara Broccoli and will be the seventh actor to appear as the sexy British agent. He will make his first appearance in the 23rd Bond movie after Eon Productions decided they wanted to return to a more brooding Bond in the mould of fellow Scot Sean Connery, reports British newspaper the Sunday Mirror. A movie insider says, "Producers have been eager to take Bond back to the broody and sexy figure that Sean was so brilliant at. Obviously it's not possible for Sean to return at his age, so they have been looking for a younger actor with similar characteristics. Since then Barbara and Dougray have been in talks - and she believes he will be the perfect new 007 for the 21st Century." Brosnan announced two months ago that he would not be starring as Bond again, saying, "That's it. I've said all I've got to say on the world of James Bond."...
