Another Gene Deitch Hilarious Cartoon, Lots of Imagination Going On Here

OK, does this cartoon deserve a 10 really? Why not?! I loved it! Tales of a junk man adult with 2 younger boys living in an urban setting and he helps them, very imaginative, leave it to Gene Deitch and his writers. To me, Gene Deitch made cartoons better again from the early 60s (although I still watched all cartoons as a kid and know where they are coming from, its an entertainment product (for kids)). Recently (like 2025) I went down a rabbit hole watching a few Gene Deitch Popeye's and remembered I also enjoyed his Tom and Jerry shorts (I am in the minority, whatever, lol). So I found these of his listed under Rembrandt Pictures (which still exist today on IMdb!). I read that this was a TV pilot but shown in theaters by Paramount. The thing with watching something Gene Deitch did in the 1960s, I really don't know what to expect. I'm sure his genius will be remembered a long time in retrospective. On Youtube there is a channel named "Nudnik" which is the name of his 1960s original character that was Oscar nominated. That channel has clips of Gene being interviewed later life in Europe and how he got there and working with the Hollywood studios, like Paramount. Its a great watch. Now I think I will binge on Gene Deitch cartoon shorts no matter what the year they were made, I am entertained by them all. BTW, there are ratings that intentionally are 1 voting all of Gene's work. I wonder if its something else to do besides the quality of his work?
