    Mushrooms had a pretty funny, if maybe a little sad, ending

    To tell the truth, I didn't think this was a very funny short despite the presence of Shemp Howard in it. The leading comic is Harry Gribbon whose facial reactions didn't get a laugh out of me. The premise is that Gribbon is trying to prepare some kind of dinner involving mushrooms but he might have had them mixed with toadstools. There's also a dog who might have accidentally have ingested some of that. Also the Lionel Stander character has fixed some appliances with literally mixed results. The ending was funny if a little sad and that's all I'll say about that...
