    Preposterous

This is pure drivel, catering NOT to Christians, but only to the absolute LUNATIC FRINGE.

Ridiculous, on every level, from it's misguided theology and half-baked eschatology to it's high school level script, ponderous acting, amateurish direction, lighting, audio and cinematography. The only good thing about this movie is it's length. Short enough for concerned Christians to critique in classes about heresy and also short enough for atheists, agnostics and non-believers to get a good laugh.

REAL Christans won't find this movie enlightening. It has absolutely NO theological value and is an embarrassment. This movie very rightly causes derision by agnostics, atheists and non-believers because it is so incredibly bogus. This is the "Reefer Madness" of the End of Times

A Sermon That Gives Those Left Behind Hope

This video helps those left behind after the Rapture understand the truths and consequences of the Rapture, and why they are not with God. I am an avid reader of the Left Behind series, and I bought this video last year. I keep it in my video drawer under the TV, just in case the Rapture occurs and someone left behind gets a hold of it. I can only hope and pray. If you have seen the movie "Left Behind", you may be swayed by its direction, but this video is not just a movie, it is the truth. In the end of the sermon, Pastor Billings shows those left behind the way to salvation, by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior. I pray anyone that comes across this video will do just that. God Bless you all, and I pray that you find peace, love, grace and understanding in the Lord.

    Oye vey

It's pretty goofy how people of this persuasion think they know they're getting snatched away for eternity, and how it's an American phenomenon. But for those who have studied the origin of the ideas and how they date to the 19th century (except for 1 quote from a no-name in the 4th century). So not only would I not recommend this video for anything other than comedic value, I also think it's pretty funny that the very non-scholarly "Are we living in the end times" was also recommended. Again, if you actually want to read good commentary on what makes the "Left Behind" theology so funny try "The Rapture Trap"

Otherwise, you may end up believing that by "believing" you'll disappear into thin air and be stuck with Mike Seaver to battle the devil in a 7 year tribulation where a bunch of bad things will happen (other than Left Behind 3 - the movie) and we'll all be fooled by the antichrist.

The movie watched in the book/movie "Left Behind" after the pastor has vanished

This video...it's really pretty funny that they made it. Basically, it's the video that the pastor in the story "Left Behind" creates and leaves in his office for years until he vanishes in the Rapture; it is then found by Bruce (the assistant pastor who was left behind because he didn't actually trust God, even though everyone else thought he was very devout)...the video talks about how they knew what was going to happen, how to prepare for the next steps of the end-times, and how to follow God's plan after all; it's not too late.

Basically, this is a good video (if agree with the Left Behind authors' interpretation of end-time prophesies) to keep on your shelf so that you can let people know what happened to you after it's happened, whether it's in 2 hours or 40 years (Concerning the hour, no man will know except for the Father).

I definitely recommend the book "Are we Living in the End Times?" to explore their viewpoint and hear their take on the prophecies that have been fulfilled already and indisputable and what will be happening in the future (they discuss each view on the Rapture/Tribulation/Second Coming, and the scriptural basis for each, but also why they feel strongly that the interpretation they have is right. It also explains which characters/events from their Left Behind series are entirely fictional and which are based on scripture, and gives an in-depth look at it. A good book to read whichever viewpoint you have as an overview to them all. If you find that you agree with their interpretation, then you may want to get this video to have around the house or church in preparation for the second coming and to explain what happened to those left behind.

    • Trivia
Inspired by a scene in the Christian novel "Left Behind", in which a video created years before by a pastor explains why millions of Christians have seemingly vanished. The video is presented as an actual production of the fictional Pastor Vernon Billings and the New Hope Village Church. There is no title screen, and the actor portraying Billings is not credited.

Pastor Vernon Billings: Hello. My name's Vernon Billings, and I'm pastor of the New Hope Village Church of Mount Prospect, Illinois. As you watch this tape, I can only imagine the fear and the despair that you face. For this is being recorded for viewing only after the disappearance of God's people from the earth. The fact that you are watching indicates that you have been left behind.
