      • Trivia
After completion, the film appeared too lengthy, sometimes confusing and not very exciting. He was revised and shortened several times. However basic creative flaws could not be eliminated. The film premiered on April 15, 1973 in the first program of the GDR television, but not as part of the series Polizeiruf 110, for which it was originally produced. Rather, he was sent in a 54 minutes unusually short version without the Polizeiruf 110 titles in the afternoon program. Crucial to the decision to remove the film from the series Polizeiruf 110 were ultimately the concerns about the technical and artistic quality of the film. Years later the movie was added to the official Polizeiruf 110 send card of the GDR television as episode number 15 of the series. The first broadcast remained the only broadcast on GDR television. The first re-run was seen on MDR television in October 2001, now part of the series Polizeiruf 110 with its series opening credits.
