K-9 Corrections had an all-female production team on-set. The producers, director, DOP, sound recordists, and stills photographers were all women for the on-location shoots in British Columbia and Nova Scotia. Both prisons really appreciated this as it made the inmates more comfortable and helped them to open up on-camera.
