Fabulous for children and adults alike - a real edge of the seat adventure story which will capture even the hardest of hearts.

A wonderful, delightful story which I initially watched as a child shown by BBC. The book is fabulous and I have read it many times, as have my children. They always ask when it will be shown again on TV. I have made enquiries to the BBC but unfortunately unless enough people contact them to request it be shown again, it just will not happen. This is a brilliant story which you could never tire of watching or reading over and over. No matter how many times you see it or read it, it still keeps your attention. It tells the story of a girl who is drawn to an event which happened in the late 19th century. She sees visions and clues which lead her to discover the truth about what really happened all those years ago. Without spoiling the plot, there are twists and turns to this story which right up until the last minute lead you to believe that you have it all worked out, only for the twist to change things completely. Highly recommended and maybe one day the BBC will show it again.

    Not bad but not more

From UK, there is an endless list of films - mostly made for TV industry and destined to home audiences; this since the early seventies. The British TV industry has the secret of those kind of folk horror plots, taking place in the countryside and speaking of ghosts, curses. In all those stories, atmosphere is the main lead, more than actors, characters. This one is not the most brilliant, and maybe destined to teen audiences. Agreeable to watch and a good ending, which is the most important. It is actually a short - medium length - movie, and not an episode from an anthology series. But who cares?
