Decent adaptation, though nothing new or groundbreaking

"Blade" is the Sony Playstation video game adaptation of the Marvel Comics character created by Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan about a half-man, half-vampire hunter looking to rid the world of bloodsucking undead nasties. The game, however, is closer to the 1998 film adaptation that starred Wesley Snipes than it is to the comics that inspired it. The game is fairly playable and enjoyable, since at different points in the game you can play as either Blade or Whistler as you slay legions upon legions of the undead. But the graphics are a bit of disappointment, with block-style graphics that are rendered fairly poorly. "Blade" is still a decent video game adaptation, though it's nothing new or groundbreaking.
