    • Trivia
This anime TV series was inspired by the American live action TV sitcom Ma sorcière bien aimée (1964), which was very popular in Japan at the time but mostly with young girls. Toei decided to buy the manga that was both the basis for this TV series and had a very similar story (a witch comes down to Earth against her father's wishes).
