The idea of this documentary is to give details about what happened in University of Brasilia on 1968. Specifically about the revolt. The movie keeps making circles around the same thing, using interviews with students, professors, politicians and the former dean. The idea is that the audience will make his own opinion about what happened. Wladmir Carvalho is supposed to be only a facilitator. At the end, you can fell that he has his own point of view.

When Brasilia replaced Rio de Janeiro as Brazilian capital, some people didn't want universities in the just built city. Darcy Ribeiro, however, didn't think so, and fought not only to build the University of Brasilia, but to make it an example of high-level educacion. Unfortunately, few years after the University was built, the dictatorship of the militaries began in Brazil, and liberty and freedom were taken off Brazilian citizens. The students of the new university were probably the ones who suffered the most. Police invaded the university several times and hurt students, even "innocent" ones (if we can blame someone on fighting for his/her rights and freedom). Students, under leadership of Honestino Guimaraes, resisted for a long time. Well, the whole story is told on the movie. A great story of a man, who had a dream, a great dream, about a democratic country where people were free. A story of brave people, who didn't accept losing their freedom and fought to recover it, and, most of all, to turn back freedom to the country.
