The only shared credit of
David Soul and
John Byner. Two years after this special, the latter title character of
Starsky et Hutch (1975) played by Soul would be spoofed by Byner in the made-for-TV movie
Murder Can Hurt You! (1980), a sendup of TV detective shows, with Byner playing Hatch to
Jamie Farr's Studsky, spoofing the Starsky character played in the original by
Paul Michael Glaser.
