    Weird

I was walking through the video store today and seen Rachael Leigh Cook's face on a dvd I never seen before, so I said what the hell, I'll rent it. Well, besides from Rachael still looking cute and sexy with as ever even with the Blonde hair, the movie was interesting. The movie has a completely no name cast except for Rachael, but that didn't really affect the film. This is really one of those weirdo movies about 3 weird people or wait were there two. I am actually a little bit confused about the ending. But all and all, this movie had fair acting, a pretty interesting story and a confusing ending. It's well worth the $5 bucks to rent it. I would give the this movie a 6.5/10. A decent and original low budget flick.

    Oke

Pretty good low-budget road-movie about three twisted minds. Jack, with his imaginary friend Sally, is on the road. He picks up Beth and later picks up Bugs, who also has an imaginary friend called Sally. This leads to tentions between Jack and bugs, who both claim 'Sally'... Nice to see that a well-known girl like Rachael Leigh Cook is in this movie. I thought this film is oke.

    Confused, confusing and pointless

Pretty dreadful movie about several unbalanced young people in a car starts off reasonably well but becomes more bizarre and hard to swallow as it progresses. Rachel Leigh Cook is the sole highlight in a tender and sexy performance, but I would recommend this film only to die-hard fans of the actress.

    Perhaps Silly?

This film has no point, unless that is its point. Additionally, it is rather contrived, like a cheesy suspense film that starts out one way and ends up another. The three main characters have nothing in common, presumably, when in fact they do. There is an older male, a younger male, and a younger female, each trying to find something by running away, and that brings them together in an explosive odyssey. The title seems intentionally misleading, unless as a synonym for an onslaught. By all standards, the younger male is mentally afflicted with autism and with Tourettes syndrom. Anyway, he has escaped from a psychiatric facility. The older male exhibits symptoms of schizophrenia and psychopathy, but we don't get the details until later. In contrast, the young female seems normal enough for a girl who is alleged to be running away from home. They all appear to come from different places. That's what we are led to believe.

The story gets stranger and more bizarre as it goes - more than one is not quite right in the head. Sometimes the camera is just shooting pictures of telephone poles and wires, or other spurious details of passing along on a trip to nowhere in particular. The older man has a fancy new car but no money. As his judgement begins to deteriorate more profoundly, his younger two companions seem to grasp for some control of their destiny. Then the whole story, well, you will have to see it. There are elements of "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "Waiting for Godot." The line between sanity and insanity is very blurred, and there is a purposelessness to the story. The ending fails to tie us back meaningfully to the beginning. It pretends to give us hope, but more like a wish, a dream, or something hallucinated by a dissociated, childlike mind. This is a film more difficult to ignore than to praise.

A movie that promises everything and leaves you with nothing.

An "independant" film that, from the back of the box, promises twists, adventure and an emotional adventure we will never forget. This film also fools us into watching it by flaunting Rachel Lee Cook with a starring role. After the first twenty minutes, you realize that this movie is going to give you NOTHING. The story goes on aimlessly, revealing nothing new or important to keep us interested. All three "disturbed" characters have only small grains of back story to force us to care. Just as you reach the end, everything about the story is altered and instead of helping the audience catch up, you are left with no idea, and more importantly, no interest in "why". The director, who also thought it would be a good idea to co-star, seems to come into the film with no prior experience or knowledge of useful filmmaking. The entire piece looks like a college "art" film crafted by a freshman film student trying to hide a lack of true talent.
