I loved Motocrossed. I feel that it give people especially gurls the courage to play a sport like that. And Plus there are ALOT of hot guys in the film expecially Riley Smith. And I also LOVE the sport motocross Now I know that I am not the only gurl probably to be racin.
I thought this was an overall good Disney movie. Even though you know the girl gets the guy in the end still makes it a good movie. Not only is there action, it shows that a girl can win in a man's sport too. I think Alana Austin did an awesome job as portraying Andi. She had the strength to overcome the diversity in a man's sport to come out on top.
Ok, this is definitely not the best Disney movie out there, BUT it is the best one made for TV. It is a fun movie to watch, with characters you actually care about, and a few very witty lines "Do you think anyone in France actually misses him." Yes a few characters were created souly to further the plot, Andi's father isn't very realistic, neither Fern, and Renee's accent is horrible. Still it is a fun movie, Dean and Andi's relationship is sweet. Her mother, and two brothers are great characters. Even though it is predictable, come on guys it's a Disney movie do you think that they're going to have her bike crash and her die or something, it is a very fun watch, so fun that it is possible to watch it twice in one day without getting bored (my sister came in for the very end and then wanted to watch the beginning). So watch if it comes on TV, or it even is a satisfying rental, but don't expect it to challenge you, or to be anything more than it is.
Saw the movie Motocrossed and I say it was the best besides it being a little predictable. That Alana Austin is a babe unlike I have ever seen. She played the part of Andi Carson real well like an eighteen year old actress would. It was the best disney movie that has came on in a long time. Since Motocrossed came on television people have been sworming Napster to get some of the songs played in the film. A girl being able to ride dirt bikes better than a bunch of guys is cool. I wish I could meet Alana Austin sometime in the future. I would love to speak in person with her.
I've never been a big fan of Disney Channel Original Movies, and for good reason as most of them are cheesy meaningless movies made to keep young kids occupied. However, I was very pleasantly surprised when I caught the middle of the movie accidentally one day while flipping channels. After seeing the last half of the movie, I just had to see the beginning so I found out when it was coming on again and watched it again from the very beginning. Upon doing so, I discovered that the movie is actually quite good and I definitely recommend it to those who are interested in motocross and are also into family movies. I liked the girl power aspect as well as the family togetherness; it's quite amazing how the whole family stuck together at the end, and I found it so awesome that Andrea was good at Motocross but could still be a typical girl at the same time. It shows that girls can be good at sports and not look like tomboys. Also, the casting directors should be commended because they picked a fine cast of talented young people. This movie has a good message for the whole family and although the twins in the movie looked almost nothing alike, and Andrea would never be able to pass for Andrew in real life, sticking around for the ending is definitely well worth it. I give this movie 8/10 stars.
