This movie had me from the get go. It definitely had intense action sequences mixed with poignant character development. I was deeply moved as I love movies about serial killers and this one did not fall short. In fact it had more heart than most serial killer films because it really got inside the psychosis of the main character. It's also better really well shot for such a low budget movie. With all the bad horror films coming out these days this one really stands out in the crowd. It just goes to show that with some creativity and care you can accomplish a lot without having a huge Hollywood budget.

Wow. This is by far one of the strangest, most engaging independent films I've seen in years. It's part horror film, reminiscent of REPULSION or HENRY: A PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER but also has a fascinating, uncomfortable love story at it's center. It's the kind of film Hollywood would never have the balls to make. The actors are both great. The film must have been shot for very little money but the production value is excellent. Zachary Hansen is a director to keep your eye out for in the future.
I LOVED this movie. Bravo! Finally a horror movie with some heart! Unlike so many forgettable serial killer movies out there this one is actually going to stick with me. It's another one of those recent indie horror movies that's so much more brave than anything Hollywood would dare to make. The characters feel like real people, admittedly pretty twisted people, which makes the situation all the more tense. At the heart of the movie is a weirdo love story that is almost more uncomfortable to watch than the scenes of murder. Don't think yourself too twisted if by the end you finding yourself rooting for the serial killer!
This film might be tiresome for the standard fare thrill-seekers and box-office hounds. But for those of us who seek depth and texture in film, Killer Me is a much appreciated deviation from the mainstream.
The music score especially draws the viewer in--with creepy sounding, wholly unfamiliar noises. More over, the raw, almost uncomfortable performances from the actors lend an excellent hand to the already rich story-line. Given that this film was made on almost no budget, it looks great and is easy to watch.
For a viewer who needs a TV-style resolution and standard story-line, Killer Me will be challenging to watch. For the real film lovers out there-- Killer Me will not disappoint.

A very unique take on a topic that has been done many times in lesser hands. This film brings so much originality to its audience instead of the same "been there - done that" journey. I'd say i like this better than Dahmer... though both are great, this film keeps you interested from begin to end and never puts you to sleep. See it just for the wonderful performances. The film was really casted right for such a low budget. So many low budget films have a bunch of non-talents but this film obviously took the time to select the right players. A must see for all people interested in low budget films and especially unique horror movies.
