    Loved it

I couldn't believe I found this a couple days ago. I watched it again tonight. I've tried to find it for a long time but read it was in UCLA I think their library, or something. It said it hadn't been seen since then. I guessed I'd never see it. I enjoyed it, was like watching a play. I think this was after Perry king was in The Possession of Joel Delaney. I thought the way they had the ghost tied up was unique. And Perry's character fighting the ghost was pretty convincing I saw Perry king in The Divide and started trying to find as many of his movies as I could and I've bought several. Gorgeous man and good actor. A few I can't find so it was a treat to find this!

    The ghost and the writer

Not a ghostwriter plot but a novelist facing a ghost for sure. A story that seems to be without surprise, but when watching it, it is really impressive, powerful, I would say fascinating. Some jaw dropping scenes that you could not expect in such a TV show, even dedicated to horror. A riveting story which you should not regret. It seems to be rare, there are no reviews about it. The directing is of course a bit like a stage play, no outdoor elements, only indoor, but that doesn't interfere with the efficiency of this horror tale, fantasy, eerie tale. This series WORLD WIDE OF MYSTERY is rather hard to purchase, unlike its "cousin" tv show THRILLER.

    Lousy supernatural romantic triangle

One of my sci-fi/horror/fantasy reviews written 50 years ago: Directed by Lela Swift; TV taped feature Produced by Jacqueline Babbin for Specter Productions as part of Hollis Alpert's "Classic Ghosts" series, telecast by ABC-TV. Screenplay by Millard Lampell from Fitz-James O'Brien's story; Lighting by Mel Handelsman; Edited by Alfred Muller; Scenic Design by Alan Kimmel. Starring: Gwen Verdon, Perry King, James Keach and Ann Miles.

Foolish, consistently overacted ghost triangle that is poor in every respect, down to its ultra-trite, throw-it-in-the-viewer's lap ending. Unfortunate choice for Gwen Verdon, rarely cast on TV, in the central role.
