Drake Seemingly Shades Kendrick Lamar In Cryptic Post ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Days after deleting all Kendrick Lamar beef reference posts from Instagram, including several posts promoting his diss tracks against the ‘Not Like Us’ rapper, Drake returned to social media on Sunday, June 9, to label himself a “goat.”
For those who don’t know, Kendrick Lamar kicked off the feud with Drake in March by dissing him on Metro Boomin and Future’s track, “Like That.” In the ensuing months, the two traded insults, diss track after diss track, triggering the greatest rap beef of all time.
In May, Tde CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith declared the beef was over after Lamar released “Meet The Grahams” and “Like That.” During the same weekend, Drake dropped “Family Matters” and “The Heart Part 6.” Lamar dominated the music charts, while Drake trailed far behind.

Tim Westwood has been interviewed twice under police caution after allegations of sexual misconduct.
Last year, the DJ was accused of predatory and unwanted sexual behaviour and touching by multiple women.
In a joint investigation by the BBC and The Guardian, seven women – all of whom are Black – spoke about the alleged incidents, which are said to have taken place between 1992 and 2017.
Westwood strenuously denied the allegations at the time, with a spokesperson alleging that the claims were completely false.
On Wednesday (12 April), the Metropolitan Police said officers were investigating five accusations of offences alleged to have happened between 1982 and 2016.
“Police are investigating five reports relating to allegations of non-recent sexual offences allegedly committed by a man,” their statement read.
“The offences are alleged to have occurred in London between 1982 and 2016. A 65-year-old man was interviewed under caution on March 15 2023 and April 4 2023.”

The Whale is a movie directed by Darren Aronofsky starring Brendan Fraser whom we guess will win the Oscar… and an excellent Sadie Sink,
This movie is based on a play by Samuel D. Hunter.
As it can be with you, we didn´t feel like watching it at all and it surprised us in many ways.
It is as expected: extremely melodramatic and yes, it is about a man with hyper obesity.
Storyline
A university professor who can barely get out of his chair. He teaches online and his obesity points to the evident: if he does not do something about it, he will die within a few days.
Movie Review The Whale

Wow — a good Audie Murphy movie. Clair Huffaker’s screenplay should take credit, as well as the workmanlike direction of former Hitchcock assistant Herbert Coleman. Even John Saxon comes off well, plus the film can boast good work from favorites Zohra Lampert and Vic Morrow, and fine support from Rodolfo Acosta, Royal Dano and Lee Van Cleef.

The burgeoning rock doc world is always crying out for weird and wonderful tales that haven’t been told before. Could Dons of Disco be the new Searching for Sugar Man? Judge for yourself on the trailer below.
The film, which is featuring at the Slamdance Film Festival next week, is about a lip-syncing scandal which pits an American singer against an Italian male model over the legacy of 1980s ‘Italo Disco’ star Den Harrow.
Steven C. Beer at Franklin, Weinrib, Rudell & Vassalo is the sales agent.
In the 1980s, Den Harrow dominated the European pop charts with hits like “Future Brain,” “Bad Boy,” and “Don’t Break My Heart.” But thirty years later, American photographer Thomas Barbèy made a startling revelation, that he was the secret voice behind the project, and Italian Stefano Zandri has allegedly been lipsyncing for decades. The film explores who is the true artist behind Den Harrow.

How does Heather Parry, president of Live Nation Productions, operate? A telling example comes in answer to a question about how her company became involved with “A Star Is Born,” the Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga vehicle that is already one of the biggest films of the year.
“I know Bradley, and as soon as I heard he was going to direct it I called his agent, Dave Bugliari, who was on a ski lift at the time,” she recalls. “I said, ‘How does Live Nation get involved with this movie? We have venues and festivals and concert tours and all these assets and ways we can help you market,’ and he was like ‘I’m on a ski lift!,’” she laughs. “But to his credit, he called me right back and then talked to Bradley. Damn! Rappers G-Eazy and Machine Gun Kelly are beefing right right now over pop star Halsey — and things just took a nasty turn. Earlier this week, Mgk went live on Hot 97 with Funkmaster Flex and performed a freestyle where he dissed G-Eazy and claimed that he hooked up with his girlfriend Halsey and just hours later, G-Eazy completely bodied Mgk with a diss track — and he even threatened Mgk. Mgk was the one to take the first jab, and he hit way below the belt with his verse about the "Bad at Love" singer. "Let's just keep it G / Only Eazy I f--k with is E / I see he dyed his hair and got a hanging earring / I f--ked his girl now he look like me / This s--t overbearing," Mgk rapped in his freestyle. What a night... let’s just keep it G. Soundcloud now.

Sony Music has entered into a formal partnership with Tha Lights Global, the company co-founded by Dooney Battle, best known for managing Lil Pump, Variety has learned. The multi-million-dollar deal will align Tlg with Sony Music and allow the label to place or distribute its artists through any of Sony’s own properties, among them Columbia, Epic and RCA Records.
The deal was said to involve multiple bidders and a price tag that neared $10 million, though some sources place the final tally at nearly twice that figure. Sony eyed the venture as a way to fortify its efforts in the Urban realm, say insiders, viewing Hlg as a forward-thinking, hip-hop-centric, youth-oriented hub with a significant social media footprint thanks to a stable of influencer talent.
Whispers of an impending deal had been floated for some time as Tlg artist Dominic Fike was reported to be signing with Sony, which Variety has confirmed.

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling: Fusion review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a good one to talk about.
Match #1: Stud Stable defeated Jason Cade, Jimmy Yuta & Rhett Giddins The following includes a recap which is courtesy of Mlw.com
The Dirty Blondes teamed up with Parrow as Col. Robert Parker brought nearly 1,000 pounds of Stud Stable beef to the ring. Meanwhile, Cade and Yuta offered up some size of their own in Rhett Giddins. Cade and Yuta bring speed and finesse, while Giddins counters the mighty Parrow’s power.
Yuta utilized that quickness early, starting the match with numerous pin attempts on Michael Patrick. With Yuta establishing early momentum, he backed into his own corner, where Cade took it upon himself to tag in unbeknownst to Yuta. But Patrick quickly tagged in Parrow — the biggest, strongest man in the match.

Since his days as a 2003 “American Idol” contestant – and subsequent victor – Ruben Studdard has received one request: cover the music of singer-composer Luther Vandross. Studdard even heard as much from his mother Emily after his “Idol” win. The resemblance of two big men with dynamic tenor voices and winding interpolative skills is certainly striking. Studdard all but sealed his fate in regard to the late Luther when a licensing snafu caused the then-contestant to cover “Superstar,” the 1969 Bonnie Bramlett and Leon Russell tune for which Vandross lent his grand interpretative skills in 1983.
From the stage of the Keswick Theatre in the Philadelphia suburb of Glenside, Penn. on Saturday, Studdard confessed to all-of-the-above while elegantly channeling Vandross for his “Ruben Sings Luther” showcase. Based on the recently-released Seg Music album of the same name, the “Velvet Teddy Bear” appropriated much of the late tenor’s nuances without mimicking too much of Vandross’ athleticism.

Everyone notices the eyes first, languid, those of a somnambulist. Robert Mitchum, calm and observant, is a presence that, through passivity, enamors a viewer. His face is as effulgent as moonlight. The man smolders, with that boozy, baritone voice, seductive and soporific, a cigarette perched between wispy lips below which is a chin cleft like a geological fault. He’s slithery with innuendo. There’s an effortless allure to it all, a mix of malaise and braggadocio, a cocksure machismo and a hint of fragility. He’s ever-cool, a paradox, “radiating heat without warmth,” as Richard Brody said. A poet, a prodigious lover and drinker, a bad boy; his penchant for marijuana landed him in jail, and in the photographs from his two-month stay he looks like a natural fit. He sits, wrapped in denim, legs spread wide, hair shiny and slick, holding a cup of coffee. His mouth is...

When mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs filmed the reconciliations and rehearsals for 2016's massive Bad Boy Family Reunion concert, he hoped to produce a music documentary similar to Madonna's 1991 backstage whirlwind Truth or Dare. This article processes some hard truths many won’t like.
The first part of this narrative, Milestone Is Dead, got a lot of people talking.
Nothing and I mean nothing in that article was new. I’ve written about what and why I thought the holdup at Milestone was many times. The only thing that was new was the title.
Every move Milestone has made I’ve predicted beforehand, and done so in writing.
But as always put a new spin on an old point, and people see something bright and shiny and want to play with it.
Now people are paying attention.
Paying attention to see whether or not I’m going to throw more shade at my former partners. I didn’t throw any in the first place. I told the truth Milestone 2.0 formed almost seven years ago, and there are no books.
Milestone is dead for four reasons.

Demetrius Shipp Jr. looks a lot like Tupac Shakur. While in some circles that could be enough to recommend the first-time actor for the part of the beloved late rapper, it’s a casting choice indicative of much bigger issues in Benny Boom’s long-gestating biopic, “All Eyez on Me.” The casting choice suggests that a commitment to accuracy, but that doesn’t make up for many other shortcomings in a movie that does no favors to Tupac’s legacy.
Opening with a political urgency that belies a very different project, Boom’s film (penned by Jeremy Haft, Eddie Gonzalez, and Steven Bagatourian) initially reads as a timely rallying cry around Shakur’s legacy, before devolving into a paint-by-the-numbers biopic that unspools with as much energy as a Wikipedia entry. Framed in the most uninspiring way possible — with Hill Harper playing a journalist who visits Tupac in prison to reflect...

Sean “Diddy” Combs is not a man who has ever done anything in his life haphazardly. From his impeccably put together ensembles composed exclusively out of the finest luxury brands and expansive alcohol empire, to his multi-decade spanning career and the absurdly A-list company he keeps, there’s nothing particularly casual or slapdash about the way the rapper goes about his everyday business. And if his arrival on the Met Gala steps was any indication, he’s also a person who undoubtedly knows how to curate a major moment. So naturally, when he decided to get a new tattoo, Diddy was not messing around.

Forbes has just released its list of 2017's highest paid entertainers. Taylor Swift took the top spot as the highest paid celebrity last year with a whopping $170 million paycheck. However, she dropped to No. 49 this year with an income of around $44 million in 2017—a 74% year-over-year decrease. This year, Sean "Diddy" Combs sees the No.1 spot, coming in right above Beyoncé. The rapper and businessman can chalk up his $130 million year to his Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour, a partnership with Ciroc vodka and selling one-third of his Sean John clothing line (which went for an estimated $70 million). Queen B, on the other hand, came in second on the list with $105...
