Several have questioned the use of the character "The Ringmaster", who appears as one of the game's main antagonists. In the 1941 animated film Dumbo, to which serves as the character's first appearance, he is portrayed as being more of a supporting neutral character rather than a main antagonist, never showing to be as outwardly malicious as other villains introduced before or after him, though characteristically has shown elements of strictness and occasional arrogance.
