I finally watched this movie after years of avoiding it, and while it had its moments, it left me with mixed feelings. The story is engaging, and the performances are solid, particularly in emotional and intense scenes. However, the movie's pacing feels rushed and uneven, making it difficult to fully connect with the characters or their arcs. Some transitions between scenes are abrupt, and certain plot developments feel forced rather than naturally unfolding.
One of the biggest drawbacks is the sheer number of illogical moments sprinkled throughout the film. Many sequences lack coherence, and some character actions defy common sense, making it hard to stay fully invested. Yet, despite these flaws, the movie remains a decent one-time watch, thanks to its entertaining moments and nostalgic value.
The music, unfortunately, is just average, failing to leave a lasting impression. What stands out for the wrong reasons is Sunny Deol's obsession with Nisha, which feels exaggerated and unconvincing. The dynamic between them lacks depth, making his relentless pursuit seem more awkward than compelling.
Adding to the unintentional humor are Anu Malik's sporadic appearances as a relationship counselor, which feel random and out of place. Similarly, Juhi Chawla's father seems to exist in the story only when convenient-his presence is noticeable in certain scenes, yet he completely vanishes when she is in distress, which makes for an unintentionally comical inconsistency. These odd character choices and logical gaps ultimately prevent the film from reaching its full potential.

Arjun Pandit is truly one of the most mind-blowing action movies I have ever seen! Sunny Deol's character is somewhat different as he plays a simple, god-fearing yoga professor, who believes in nonviolence. Later circumstances lead him into a web of deceit and danger, as he eventually learns the truth and becomes Arjun Pandit, who is sort of a hit-man for one of the dons. When he finds out that he is being used as a pawn, he turns vengeful against the baddies, and in a totally explosive and bloody battle, our Jat hero survives and wins the day at last, plus he gets the girl; the song in the climax was soooooo unnecessary. This action film is the comeback of Sunny Deol with Rahul Rawail. Their later movie together, JBSN in '05 was funny! Arjun Pandit is a good action movie. Recommended for Sunny fans!
Music is good. Action is good. Dialogue is good. Sunny and Juhi as well as other done their best. Combination of a good movie. Buy typical '90s. Old story. Uneven execution. Forgettable.
Watched this movie recently.Unfortunately many doesn't know the fact that this is the remake/rehashed version of 1995 classic Kannada movie 'Om' directed by Upendra starring Shivarajkumar.I watched the original Kannada movie in theater at least twice. Here they completely shifted the story from Bangalore underworld to Mumbai underworld.
As usual Sunny Deol over acts in some scenes.Rahul Rawail disappoints big time.Juhi Chawla does her job pretty good. This is only one time watchable movie. All the supporting cast did a pretty good job.I think the director made this movie after the success of Sathya. This movie is only for Sunny Deol fans.

So, a very different film subject-wise and very different roles for both Sunny Deol and Juhi Chawla. Deol plays a peaceful professor who ideologically avoids physical conflicts, and Juhi Chawla is the feisty young woman who befriends him for reasons directly related to what she considers pure conwardice. The film is enjoyable, more because it's twisted and unpredictable even if the delivery is flawed and highly exggerated at times. Where the film scores big time is obviously in the action, which is very well done. So yes, there's the regular dishum dishum sound and absurdities here and there but aren't all action films after all. The main lead is well cast - Sunny Deol is very strong in delivering everything the film demands, and Chawla is given a different, intense and negative kind of role which showcases her versatility. Technically, the film is quite impressive in sound and cinematography, and the ending is exactly what you'd expect. Arjun Pandit is nothing great, but it's considerably entertaning.
