A nice thriller

I had waited for this movie after I got some good online reviews. Finally on you tube I found it and watched. From first scene it is interesting and as the movie proceeds it becomes a good thriller. Vijay Anand and Leena had good chemistry but it is Trilok Kapoor who steals the show. Supporting staff is fine and background score is according to mood. Good time pass.

Very good suspense movie.

I saw this in college days and liked it. I still remember it as a good thriller suspense movie. Without songs. The only song is in background, old seeet song by Lata. I reckon that this was Leena Chandavarkars best role.

Excellent thriller-however plot directly lifted Agatha Christie's Murder of Roger Ckroyd

The movie's plot is copied from Agatha Christie's novel -The murder of Roger Ackroyd.

The change is replacement of Hercule Poirot's by Vijay Anand-who plays Roger ackroyd's son.

The movie however is made excellently -with Vijay Anand & Trilok Kapoor acting very well. Wish Trilok Kapoor ( Prithviraj's younger brother could've got his due and acted in a lot more movies) However didn't expected Vijay Anand to be copying the plot without giving any credit to Agatha Christie. Blot on him.

Leena Chandravarkar's screen presence is very graceful.

No movies in the movie except Vijay Anand's 2 lines-which too forms intricate part of the film.

Trivia
"Diavolo Tzigano" (The Gypsy Fiddler/Ron Goodwin) by Kurt Steiner,Orchestra Da Concerto Di Vienna is played in the title sequence. It is the same music played in the Sudhir,Zahira, Ranjeet beach scene in Dharmatma. It was also used in a fight scene in Jaan Hazir Hai (1975).
