There are a number of running gags. The large door of Brakelmann's barn is always falling off, often scattering chickens across the farmyard. (One time it is blown off by an explosion inside the barn!) Adsche's "Mofa" (moped) falls over when it's unattended, usually after he's entered "Unter den Linden", the village pub.
