Well, as far as I'm concerned this is certainly a "B" movie. I enjoy a good B movie and this would be one of them.
It's a cross between "Never Talk to Strangers" and "9 1/2 Weeks." I really find Angie Everhart quite pretty and although I've never been nuts on Richard Grieco, I did notice one thing . . . the two of them together emitted an intense chemistry just like that of the Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke combo.
She is his probation officer after he was found guilty for manslaughter by killing her best friend via sexual asphyxiation. The curiosity about him gets the best of her and she finds herself beginning to slip outside the professional boundaries of her job. This causes her to tell him on the phone that she will no longer see him outside of the office.
Of course - what happens? She works late that night . . . alone . . .in the dark and then he comes prowling into the office, with a straight edge razor in hand (he collected them), he uses the back of the razor to trace the outline of her face and neck while standing behind her, I tell you, I felt her fear and excitement and just the taboo of it all and I guarantee you, the chemistry worked and was worth seeing despite the movie being a B, despite the secondhand actors and weak plot - the chemistry and the touching of the taboo sexual practices was actually quite refreshing.
This is what I would term, "Very Good" bad TV.

While having a kinky sexual intercourse with suffocation, the artistic photographer Gale (Richard Grieco) accidentally kills Lisa (McKayla). He is convicted, but gets probation due to his primary condition. The probationer is Beth Spinella (Angie Everhart), the best friend of Lisa. Beth gets closer to Gale, and is seduced by him. Meanwhile, a maniac mysteriously threatens her. The story has a very surprising end. Yesterday I watched this movie and, for an erotic thriller, it is not so bad. The greatest problem is the gay face of Richard Grieco, with those thin eyebrows. His face looks like a kind of Michael Jackson, and does not fit well in a very masculine role. However, it is worthwhile to see the gorgeous and sexy Angie Everhart naked or in sexy situations along most of the flick. In my opinion, Angie Everhart is not a bad actress, but if she prefers this type of role, that is her choice. I do not know how many times she is undressed along 85 minutes running time. Probably it is a record! But at least she is delicious. The story is not so bad, and with some improvement in the screenplay, could be great. Anyway, I do not regret watching this movie. My vote is six.

There's just not enough titillation and way too much sleazoid histrionics to make this masturbatory mystery rise above the usual low-grade, late-night cable fare. Everhart is attractive here and Grieco is so punky and over the top as her whispering sex interest that even her messy performance appears acceptable. Not enough sleaze here to excuse the stupidity.
Last Cry (aka Sexual Predator) is a misguided attempt at trying to stimulate the young rental crowd with hopes of erotic scenes involving none other than the B-Movie queen of the day - Angie Evanheart. The story was preposterous and the acting was phoned in. Even the costume design was terrible. Angie plays the typical B-movie type role. One where the 'doctor' wears glasses and men's suits to cover what we are all aware is a killer body to be revealed at a later time. Nudity is abundant. 3 minutes in cue first nude scene, 13 minutes cue second, 24 minutes, cue flashes back to first. Angie's close ups reveal more makeup than what a 4 year old daughter would paint on herself if she ever got into your makeup cabinet. Do yourself a favor, stay clear of this release so that the smaller studios realize that a story....any story is required before we throw our hard earned dollars at a flick. GMO
I bought this on DVD for £2 not really expecting much. I knew the two leads but no one else in the film. Ms Everhart had impressed me in small roles in Jade & Trigger Happy. Richard Grieco is a reasonably competent C grade actor but I didn't expect too much, I was quite surprised.
For me this movie worked if you don't expect too much. I thought Angie Everhart was attractive and quite competent in her role and Richard Grieco was relatively believable in his role. The ending was pretty good and overall it was not a great movie, but one I would watch again. Some scenes were quite erotic and Ms Everharts nudity was worthwhile. Certainly better than most Shannon Tweed, Shannon Whirry offerings.
