Avoid this one!!!

Govinda is a natural in a comedic role, but he overreacts in serious roles. If it wasn't for his comedic timing Govinda wouldn't have lasted long in the industry. The comedy scenes were fine, everything else was beyond exaggerated. Direction was bad while the plot was ludicrous. During action scenes even the stunt cables were visible. Ending was laughable. Read a book or stare at the wall instead of watching this movie.

Shilpa Shetty and Madhoo are talented and gorgeous!

Fun movie (thanks to the great dancing by Shilpa Shetty and Madhoo). Those ladies are TALENTED! And very pretty, too.

What's with the negative reviews on here? What do y'all want? Don't you like looking at the beautiful costumes, the grand choreography, and the superlative dancing? Sheesh! The songs are sprightly and energetic. And then there's the scenery. Handsome shooting locations just add to the film's indigenous flavor. I highly recommend this film, even to novices concerning Bollywood productions.

Highlights are Shilpa's dancing at the dirt track and Madhoo's dancing on the green grass.

Crap

In 1990's we had several crap films

This is one of the films where Govinda takes a break from his non stop comedies and does an action film though they is a comic role too for him

The film is another double role by Govinda One is a serious cop and the other is a Rajnikant fan who copies him

The film is a typical action film with lot of nonsense like the entire climax where the goons make funny sounds when get hit Even the way Govinda kills the villain is hilarious

There are several more stupid scenes

Direction is awful Music is bad

Govinda does well in the cop role and does well in the Rajnikant take off role too but overacts Madhoo and Shilpa are as usual Amongst rest Shakti Kapoor and all the goons including Ishrat Ali do their routine

"Mera Chandi Jaisa Badan "at 0:01 sampled from the song "Tina O Tina"(Power Mixx) at 0:28. "Tina O Tina" was sung by UK Bhangra group Premi. The song was from the album "Extra Hot 5 (Bhangra Remixes)", that released in 1991. The album was Remixed by Amit and San J of The X Zecutive. The remix of Tina O Tina had sampled the song "Power" by Snap . The same tune was later used in the song "I Was Made For Loving You Baby" from the film Jaanam Samjha Karo. The tune appears in the song after Kamaal Khan says "I Was Made For Loving You Baby Kya Kyaal Hain Bol".Years later, the Tina O Tina remix had a alternate version remade with similar music and different lyrics. The songs name was "The Power of Bhangra" by Snap! vs Motivo. Rapper Turbo who had rapped in the original version, rapped in the new version as well. Years later, the song Tina O Tina would be copied by the Appy Budday in Kismet Love Paisa Dilli. It had the same rhythm.
