Game Room

The first part of this movie is pretty empty and dull but after the second part, after 1/2 hours, the story is getting more exciting.

I can say that this movie is brilliant but the should hire some well known casts to spice up the entire production.

This movie starts slowly -- very slowly. A subplot is introduced (terrorists detonating an anthrax bomb near Sydney) that almost never matters to the main plot (the geek getting his revenge on his school mates.)

The acting/directing/script is horrible. Reactions to the death of one character are , well, nothing. Nobody reacts naturally. This is just one example.

And the vengeance the character does get isn't really satisfying either. not worth seeing not matter how you look at it.

When I was a young starving actor I signed on to be in this movie. It was a hoot to be in it, but it may have been one of the worst movies ever made (sorry Joe! no offence)! I've only ever seen it once at the cast and crew screening, but I heard a rumour it got a video release in japan back in the 90's. I have been trying to track down a copy of this movie for years, or some production stills even but it has disappeared without a trace (I should probably be grateful for that I guess X) If anyone has production photos or a video copy of this movie somewhere I'd love to get a hold of it so I can watch it again for laughs.
