Very very cute

This movie is indeed about a Rip Van Winkle type situation, but there are various plot aspects like who put him to sleep, how he deals with his family when he returns from the sleep, how he helps the town. It was especially nice to be reminded that yes, just one person CAN make a difference, and our small-town USA is worth saving. It reminds us that life is magic, it isn't about your money or your status, and it does so in a lovely Disney-reminiscent rated G fashion. Watch this one with your kids!

When Jack wakes up 20 years later, he has dreadlocks. If he was alone for 20 years, with nobody disturbing him, he couldn't possibly have put in his own dreadlocks.
