One of three films exhibited on Cinelândia, on Rio de Janeiro, after the killing of student Edson Luís de Lima Souto during the 1968 protests against the military regime. The other two films were:
Le point de non-retour (1967) and
Le point de non-retour (1967), titles which reflected the situation on the military's in the country and the way Edson was shot (point blank range); the Brazilian relates to the mourning state of the nation. The posters were presented along with protest signs condemning the military acts against students.
