I saw the movie beer money not to long ago, it was introduced to me by a friend. Well this was not one of my friend's better movies. The thing i do not get out of the whole movie is why the paperboy's are bad poeple??? they kindnapped a guy and put his hair in a pan of milk,by the way i hated that scene . But the really stupid thing about this movie is they named it beer money but hardly talk about or drink much beer. I know they were going to sell the alien for beer money but it got out of hand. And I do not know why they had that shot in the begining of that movie when the guy put the dog's balls in his mouth. Anyway it was a USA original movie but I have seen alot better than this one. So by ending i say this movie has two kind of funney scenes in it besides that the film was a waste of time and money.
It kills a couple of hours. As opposed to "Pearl Harbour" which also was a moronic two hour movie, but it was "crammed" into 3 hours..

I'm not ashamed to say that I enjoyed this funny and unpretentious flick. It falls into whatever genre "Dumb and Dumber" or "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" would belong to. What would you call that - "unselfconsciously stupid comedy"?. Nick von Esmarch (the wrestler from Nikki) is pretty good as the redneck party animal buddy. J.P. Manoux is hilarious as the snivelling sidekick. And if NYPD Blue has made you a Mark-Paul Gosselaar fan, you won't be disappointed. You see all of him here.
This was a pretty good movie, it reminded me a lot of the "get a life" episode where chris elliot finds an alien that spews different liquids...
from the ninja-eggthrowing paperboys, to the scifi-paranoid guy who smells from both ends, at least this movie has some interesting charecters (with a couple funny gay porn jokes)...
anyways, if you catch this movie being reran, and there isint anything else on, give it a chance.

I mainly watched Beer Money to see if Mark-Paul Gosselaar can assure you that he's popular for his acting and not for his SBTB-time. Well, he didn't. His acting wasn't too good. I liked Mercedes McNab and Nick von Esmarch (am I spelling that right?) better. There are a few funny scenes, but most of the time it's not even of second-class-quality. The story wasn't always clear to me. And I also wonder why they called it Beer Money. That's mentioned once in the movie, but has nothing to do with the rest. It seemed like a weak copy of E.T. Maybe this movie is funnier for little kids, but if you don't know what to do, this movie is OK to kill the time.
