Felix the Cat: The Movie is a delightful animated adventure that captures the whimsical charm and creativity of the classic Felix the Cat character. The story, set in another dimension, pits Felix against the villainous Duke of Zill and his mechanical geometric army in a fun and imaginative battle to save Princess Oriana and restore peace to the land.
The animation is colorful and engaging, and Felix's personality shines throughout the film. It's a perfect blend of nostalgia and fresh storytelling that both longtime fans and new viewers can enjoy. The film's inventive world and entertaining characters make it a must-watch for anyone who loves classic animation and adventurous tales.

This is the most annoying animated movie from I have ever seen. It never lets up for a second. The only way I can describe this movie is a bunch of kids jumping up and down on a bed yelling.
The film was made in 1989 and it's opens with an introduction by Felix the cat. However this intro is a CGI head that might scare people out of the theater. The rest of the film, however, is rendered in hand-drawn animation. So the CGI Felix head is compliantly pointless. the rest of the film is a just a noise, noise, noise that insults your intelligence.
There have been many movies based of of other cartoons but they mostly suck.
Such as Speed Racer(2008) Scooby Doo(2002) Garfield(2004) Yogi Bear(2010) Alvin and the Chipmunks(2007) Underdog(2007 The Smurfs(2011)
My advise to you is to keep away from this one and stay with the cartoons.

I was interested in seeing this movie because Doug Walker ranked it as the worst animated movie ever reviewed by the Nostalgia Critic. Yeah, it's probably one of the worst I've ever seen too, but at least it's not in my Top 5. I remember back when this movie had a score of like 6.4. It seems like it went through massive down voting because of the Critic's review. Well, it really does deserve it. The worst thing about this movie is how bad the animation is.
Everything just looks so shoddy and the dubbing is horrendous. I believe this was a film made in Hungary? There's just so much going on and many of these scenes are completely pointless. Well, the plot is that Felix goes to another dimension to save a princess from the Duke of Zill. The most insane part is probably when the princess has tears that come to life and activate the interdimensional transporter. Maybe I would have to watch more of Felix the Cat, but I doubt this is loyal to the original character. *1/2

In general, this was an interesting movie, using some of the world's first computer animation for special effects. Made right after Czechloslovakia was ridding itself of Communism, this production had a wonderful team of voice actors playing a diverse cast of characters. Overall, the movie was good, although Felix himself, his personality, and his voice can all get really annoying. The animation was quite interesting, as well as the artwork gone into it. It may not be the best movie for everyone, but has always been one of my favorites. I suggest you at least try to see it.
This is a complete mess on what this movie is all about. The story is your standard journey with Felix going to rescue a princess from her evil uncle. It doesn't even bother on explaining the newcomer on who Felix is and the magic bag that he has with him. The movie itself is more obnoxious on how many thing is going on and too many noises throughout. It feel like they put too much of the stuff he encounter throughout. Also, it feel like the movie rushing itself on how things happened pretty quickly or even have any build up with it. The characters are extremely bland and feel complete unnecessary in the movie. Even The Professor and his nephew are barely introduce or even explain why they want his bag. The voice acting is pretty bad on how annoying it is. And the movie ends in a anticlimactic way.
The animation itself is also bad on how it feel jerky and poor it is. It feel like a Saturday Morning Cartoon and the budget is really low. There's also a CGI part at the opening which feel completely unnecessary.
Felix the Cat: The Movie is a cheap movie that isn't enjoyable at all and you rather skip this movie.
