Pistoleros bajo el sol

English Title Translation: Gunslingers in the Sun

A good fun Mexican western in which a lawman (played by Fernando Almada) ventures out to avenge the death of his slain brother by a ruthless band of outlaws who have taken over a small town. Almada has a good presence about him and makes for a nice hero. There's also some nice direction and some fun ultra-violence you can tell the spaghetti western influence is mighty strong.

If I only had one gripe about it, it's that at times it feels a bit too long in spots only to then turn around and rush the ending without any conclusion at all. Also, the punishment dished out by the bad guys (tying a man to two large wooden poles a top a horse) is so cool and original.
