    Worst Movie of 2001

Get a dictionary and circle every negative word you can find - that sums up this movie. I'm not saying this movie is bad just because Leighanne isn't my favorite actress. I originally rented this movie to get a good laugh anyways, but this movie ended up giving you a headache! The plot was stupid, the sound quality was terrible (especially during phone conversations, they never changed the sound effects and it annoyed me a great deal), and the acting was awful. It's my opinion that the ONLY reason it got ANY kind of publicity was because of the fact that 2 Backstreet Boys were in it (they're also shown on the cover as another way to persuade you to see it)..and the movie isn't even worth sitting through to catch a 2 second glimpse of them. Horrible movie...do NOT waste your time.

    Great!

I think this is a great comedy independent film!! The director & producers did a good job with the storyline and organizing the movie! I've been following the last half of the making of it about 2 years ago and looked forward to finally see the final cut!! The actresses & actors did a great job too! I suggest anybody else to see this; cute & funny!

    Warm, funny, and refreshing

This film was fresh and thoroughly enjoyable. A basically unknown cast that proved themselves well in a funny and heart-warming movie. The plot is easy to figure out early on but doesn't detract from the overall experience. The two main characters are adorable, openly honest, and exude a wholesomeness not seen much today. Berlau is warm and funny without meaning to be and Littrell is charming, friendly, and easy on the eyes. There are several comical characters that round out the cast. The film itself appears to have been filmed on a home video camera as the picture is a little grainy and the sound quality could use some help. But once the movie starts and you get into it it doesn't seem to matter much.

    Good Movie

I thought this was a really nice movie. It deserves more credit than people give it, its really sweet and entertaining if you like love stories. Leighanne Littrell is a great actress, its a shame she isnt noticed as much as she should be, shes better than half the actresses out there today.

    Cute movie

I enjoyed this movie. I got it on DVD as a Christmas present (hey, I asked for it), and watched it, and thought it was very adorable. I did notice the statement at the beginning of the film that the rest of you seemed to have missed where it said that the film was almost lost in a computer crash and had to be restored... yeah, maybe that's an explanation for the "crappy editing"? Yeah, whatever. I thought this movie was absolutely great, very cute. Leighanne Littrell is a wonderful actress, and I would love to see her on the big screen someday. To everyone who said this was bad, why don't you quit looking for some deep, intense meaning in every damn movie you see, and maybe just sit back and relax and enjoy a movie that is meant to be enjoyed, not overly analyzed. Great job to the actors and actresses that took part in "Olive Juice". My only pet peeve is that they really shouldn't have devoted so much cover to Brian Littrell and AJ McLean's cameos. Yeah, they're in it, yeah, that sold more copies, but it was just tacky (Backstreet Boys fan I am, yes, but still...)

Helen Malloy: Somewhere along the line marriage has lost its charm. That specialty of such a lifelong commitment has been deluded over the years. Its not taken seriously anymore. Why? I honestly couldn't tell you that... kids rebel and elope, some people wed before they're ready, some women try to find themselves a husband just becasue they're afraid of turning 30 alone, & others do it over & over again because its fun. There's a lot of carelessness out there. The word marriage doesn't have that wholesome, blissful ring to it anymore... to marry someone, to walk down that aisle, to recite those vows to one another, it sure as hell better be the most UNCONDITIONAL, EXTRAORDINARY, PASSIONATE love you've EVER felt. You have to Truly believe that it can Never get any better than what you have. Now, look me in the eye & answer my question 1 more time- Are you In Love with my daughter?
