What an appalling show that insults one's intelligence - A doctors surgery that only sees 2 patients and answers 2 phone calls - really !!!! A doctors surgery where a receptionist has a loud standing argument in Reception with a GP over her relationship - really !!! A GP surgery where a Doctor gets engaged to a receptionist after weeks of knowing her - worst story lines ever and getting worse unfortunately- get rid of Valerie Pitman - what professional practice would employ her/ tolerate her ridiculous behaviour - get a grip BBC

Doctors is a long-running (somehow) BBC series and is possibly worst they have to offer. I know I'm flogging a dead horse here, but any piece of television with terrible acting, amateur camera work, absurdly clichéd story lines, and a seriously low-budget feel deserves a good slating.

I understand it's only a bit of daytime TV, something to have on in the background as you're occupied with other menial tasks, but they could've at least put a bit of effort in! I think it's time to pull the plug. Am I being too harsh? Hmm, possibly, but it really is bad. I'm sure there are worse shows out there, and this is just a harmless (but terrible) one... but a bit of effort wouldn't be missed.

This show is dire, the storylines are dire and the acting is dire. It's supposed to be set in the Midlands but the main character Nina seems to talk with the type of accent that you'd more likely find in the old black and white voice overs from the 1930s, strange compared to her days in Corination St as Les Battersby's annoying but on the side. I think she must have auditioned, was told it was for a doctors part and decided to put on the most ridiculous accent and she's been stuck with it since.

As for the doctor surgery, no wonder there's a doctor / GP crisis in this country if this show is anything to go by. They spend their day drinking tea and chatting rather than dealing with patients, of which there are very few ever in the surgery. They diagnose strangers on the street and seem to have endless numbers of walk in appointments.

It's terrible, it's like watching a slow motion car crash, you have to look and then wish you hadn't.

I am addicted to this programme, but over the last year the acting is so bad I am disappearing from it as I can't take no more torture. They have brought in a new 📶 who to be honest her acting is absolutely awful, her voice is like dragging nails down blackboard, can't take anymore, so my plea to writers, please get some decent actors and better presentation as at the moment with the new receptionist has sent me over the top, so bye until you change your way, my nerves won't take anymore.

Can yu tell me were yu get yiur stories from and most importantly the actors, as let's be honest they are pretty bad.

The worst show I have ever had the misfortune of encountering. The acting is terrible, the characters are badly written and extremely annoying. I can't believe we are made to pay the licence fee to fund making this dross. I'm not sure how it has managed to remain on the air for 4 years so far!

I've been off work with an injury for a few.months now and have had the opportunity to sample the delights of daytime TV. I have caught this program on several occasions, it was on today as background noise while I was working on a cross-stitch. A new character has just been introduced as a temp and was instantly the most annoying and obnoxious character you could hope to encounter. Her voice and acting offended me so much I had to swear at the telly and turn over to a less annoying gardening program immediately.
