Netflix has revealed the release date, teaser trailer, and artwork for In Your Dreams, an upcoming animated comedy adventure. The film is set to launch on the streaming service on November 14, 2025.

The film is officially described as follows: “When 12-year-old Stevie and her 8-year-old brother, Elliot, discover a magical picture book that says the Sandman can make any dream a reality, the duo embark on a life-affirming journey into the dream realm to find the mythical character. Longing to make their family perfect, the duo urgently wishes for it to come true.”

The cast includes Simu Liu as Dad, Craig Robinson as Baloney Tony, Cristin Milioti as Mom, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Stevie, Elias Janssen as Elliot, Gia Carides as Nightmara, Omid Djalili as The Sandman, SungWon Cho as Chad, and Zachary Noah Piser as Joon Bae.

Written and directed by Alex Woo, In Your Dreams is a magical saga with plenty of heart.

Anthony Michael Hall is reteaming with his Edward Scissorhands director Tim Burton on Wednesday.

The actor will appear in an undisclosed role during Season 2 of the Netflix series, which Burton executive-produces and directs, our sister site Variety reports. Hall’s TV credits include Reacher, The Goldbergs, Bosch: Legacy, Awkward and The Dead Zone.

Anthony Michael Hall has joined Netflix’s “Wednesday” for Season 2 in an undisclosed role, Variety has learned.

The casting marks a reunion between Hall and “Wednesday” executive producer and director Tim Burton, who Hall previously worked with on the 1990 classic “Edward Scissorhands.”

“Wednesday” follows Jenna Ortega in the titular role of the psychic “Addams Family” daughter in her time as a student at Nevermore Academy. The second season of the series, which debuted its hit first season in November 2022, will launch on the streamer in two parts set to drop August 6 and September 3.

Along with Hall, the previously announced new actors joining the cast for “Wednesday” Season 2 include Steve Buscemi (“The Big Lebowski”), Billie Piper (“Scoop”), Evie Templeton (“Return to Silent Hill”), Owen Painter (“The Handmaid’s Tale”) and Noah Taylor (“Park Avenue”).

Netflix has released the first trailer (below) for its highly anticipated second season of the goth-horror-comedy hit, which stars Jenna Ortega as the morbidly inclined Wednesday Addams.

The streamer has also announced the second season premiere dates, as the show will be released in two batches. The first part will be released Aug. 6 and the second will be released Sept. 3.

In the trailer, Wednesday returns for a second year at Nevermore Academy, a private school for outcasts. Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta-Jones) notes her daughter has never wanted to return to school before, and Wednesday deadpans back, “It’s like returning to the scene of a crime — I already know where the bodies are buried.” Later in the trailer, she notes, “I do my best work in the dark.”

Miramax Films’ musical fantasy comedy Ella Enchanted will officially be heading to a brand-new streaming home soon. The 2004 movie was led by Academy Award-winner Anne Hathaway in one of her earliest movie roles, following the success of 2001’s The Princess Diaries.

Beginning on March 6, Ella Enchanted will be available for streaming on Prime Video. In the film, Hathaway portrayed the titular role of Ella, a young woman whose fairy godmother granted her the magical gift of obedience. This ability requires her to immediately obey any command she has been given. However, as she grows up, this so-called gift proves to be more of a curse than a blessing, since it gives anyone the power to take advantage of her. During its theatrical run, it received negative reviews from critics and fans of the novel, with a Tomatometer rating of 51% on Rotten Tomatoes. This was due to its lack of faithfulness from the original source material.

When you watch a Disney movie that's centered on a teenager's experience, you'll usually get one of two scenarios. Most of the time, you'll see teens who fall into the broadest stereotypes. The High School Musicalfilms were all about the status quo of, well, high school and breaking out of it. The other half centers on teenagers who are thrust into circumstances that stretch the suspension of disbelief; see the entire setup of The Princess Diaries. But 20 years ago, Disney put out a film that managed to capture the teenage experience perfectly with Ice Princess. A large part of that is due to the late Michelle Trachtenberg's starring role; in the same vein as her Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gossip Girl performances, Trachtenberg gave plenty of depth to what could have been a one-note character.

Hathaway is set to star in Amazon MGM Studios’ upcoming feature Verity, which Showalter is helming. Based on the No. 1 New York Times bestseller by Colleen Hoover, the current script is written by Nick Antosca. Prior drafts were penned by Hillary Seitz, Angela Lamanna, and Will Honley & April Maguire. Sources say the film will be released in theaters.

The singer and actress has officially joined the cast of “Wednesday” Season 2, TheWrap has learned. No details have been disclosed about Gaga’s character so far.

Fresh off of starring in “Joker 2,” Gaga will join returning “Wednesday” stars Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Hunter Doohan, Victor Dorobantu, Moosa Mostafa and Georgie Farmer, as well as Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, who have been upped to series regulars.

After “Wednesday” Season 1 debuted in November 2022, Gaga’s 2011 hit “Bloody Mary” went viral when sliced with Ortega’s dancing in “Wednesday,” and since then, Ortega said in a red carpet interview that she would love for Gaga to appear in Season 2.
