      Great

After watching 'Khiladi', the first in the khiladi series, I had incredibly high hopes. Needless to say that I wasn't disappointed. The performances by Rekha and Akshay Kumar are great.I was particularly impressed by Rekha who plays underworld don Maya incredibly well. Gulshan Grover is good as is Raveena Tandon; you couldn't expect much more from them. Brian Lee is good as the wrestler called undertaker. The action is great. The story is, of course, very good. The screenplay is great as is the cinematography. The music, on the other hand, could've been better.

Verdict: watch it if you liked 'Khilad' (1992). I give it 9/10

one of the best action movies ever

KKK is a great action movie. This was another movie of khiladi FRANCHISE and this movie was a huge hit and really AK's each khiladi movie used to do better than the previous khiladi movies. For example- main khiladi tu anari grossed more than khiladi and sabse bada khiladi grossed more than main khiladi tu anari and this movie grossed more than sabse bada khiladi. What i liked in this movie was the lavish sets ,the unique concept of the film a film based on the wrestling and gangsters and smugglers involved in it , a film like this hasn't been made yet,the songs were good in which seed he Sade akshay song was the best ,it is actually made for akshay kumar, akshay's acting was like okay but his action was epic ,i bet no other bollywood actor can do that type of action that he did lifting undertaker although he was fake but lifting him also is really tough because he will be easily weighing more than 250 pounds and lifting a man whose weight is 250+pounds is a big deal. In this film akshay's action rises above the script other actors are okay and undertaker's dubbing in Hindi was horrible i was laughing out loud man, this film clashed with srk's chahat and chahat bombed at the box office and this movie shined at the box office.I can say this for sure that if this movie would have released in 2014 with 4000+ screens and on a holiday/ festival this would broken all possible records it would have easily done 2 Billion rupees at the box office, this movie could have earned more if it had not clashed with srk's movie although even despite a clash it was the 5th or 6th highest grosser of the year and without clash it would have been in the top 3 highest grossing movies of that year. It is one of the best action movies and best khiladi movies

Rekha and Akshay hot it up!!

      Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi review :

My personal fave movie from Akshay Kumar's Khiladi series; Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi was special due to Rekha's formidable act in a negative role (Madame Maya) for which she won a Filmfare award that year.

Her chemistry with Akshay was sizzling hot and there were rumours of Rekha- Akshay affair floating around that time. Raveena Tandon playing Rekha's sister and Akshay's love interest was clearly sidelined in the film.

Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi also became famous for Akshay's fight scene with WWE fighter Undertaker and later, reports emerged stating it wasn't the real undertaker at all.

Anu Malik compositions were a hit and "Hum Hai Seedhe Saadhe Akshay" still remains a favorite of the super stars fans. Rekha's mud dance (was it Multani mitti??!!) with Akshay in "In the night no control" number is another crowd puller.

Overall, a complete masala actioner which became a box office super hit. I had watched the film twice in its first week at Kohinoor cinema, Dadar amidst housefull crowd. Still do whenever it comes on tv..

      Enjoyable

The film isn't anything original in terms of the story, the film's pacing is hurt mostly by drawn out melodramatic scenes eg when his mother calls him home to tell him about his brother's wedding and the plane scenes. And there is a lot of overacting mostly from Akshay Kumar and other supporting casts. They tend to exaggerate their facial expressions and shout, even though the particular scene requires them not to, which makes the film irritating.

The one thing that I'd to discuss it's the geography the film's set and how the characters behave in it. It's America and people mostly speak English but when Maya or Don are addressing the crowd, they use Hindi which I find to be kinda awkward since they literally don't what they're saying but still cheers to it. And there are also Hindi-speaking police officers in the station which the film features a lot for obvious reason but it's very implausible for that to be the case realistically.

The soundtrack is nice, there are two catchy songs I think, the rest are meh. The sound effects in this type of old Bollywood films never ceases to make me laugh, whenever someone's getting punched, it sounds like they beating a snare drum "buch, gbuch" and same goes with the sound effects of the guns, they're all sound the same no matter the gun type, moreover when someone gets shot, the gunshot wound and blood is practically non-existent.

The cinematography is not bad for its time; the camera-work is good, and able to follow the fight sequences steadily.

Action scenes are well staged but after sometime it gets repetitive especially the one with the Undertaker, at first it's fun but then turns to caricature-like. Moreover, I find the action stunts towards to be far-fetched; like Akshay turning to a tiger? he can literally lift the Undertaker? His wounds come and go only where it's needed? and the special effects are very low-grade.

The highlight of the film is the performances, with the strongest coming from Rekha, she's portrayed her character with such aura of menace that's makes it so memorable, and unique from the rest. Her character is beautiful, and strong and feisty. Akshay Kumar brings energy and enthusiasm to his performance too, and his stunt work is impressive. The rest are so-so in the roles.

Overall, KKK is not a bad film per se, it certainly has many flaws for sure but it offers a tremendous amount of entertainment and good performances.

The best action movie from my favorite actor

This is the best action movie ever made in Bollowood industry. The father of all action movies in Bollywood AKSHAY KUMAR delivers his best. A must watch for all action action lovers. A super solid movie that will remain in the mind of all the people. I wish the existing Bollywood producers make a sequel to this old Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi. Love to see Akshay Kumar in a sequel to this. These days the movies are that great compared to the action movies of 90s. I wish if they ever make a sequel, they should include all the real wrestlers unlike The Undertake which is not a real one from the WWE. Please someone from the Bollywood make a sequel to Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi. I would be the first one to see it in the multiplex. Love you so much my dearest Akshay Kumar...

Although the Undertaker character appears in this movie, it isn't actually the real Undertaker played by Mark Calaway, it is professional wrestler Brian Lee. Brian played the role of the fake Undertaker in the WWF in 1994 . In the wrestling story line when the Undertaker went missing for 8 months, The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase claimed he could bring back the real Undertaker to the WWF. This is when the fake Undertaker played by Brian Lee appeared In the WWF. The story line was done to set up a Undertaker vs Undertaker match at the Summer Slam 94 pay per view event. When the real Undertaker returned with his manager Paul Bearer, a match was set up for the two in what would be billed as one of the biggest matches of 1994. In reality, Brian Lee was The Undertaker's best friend and was his best man at his wedding in 1993. Due to his very close resemblance to The Undertaker, Brian was signed to play the character in the WWF . When that story line finished, Brian Lee was brought back to the WWF in 1997 as Brian Lee, leader of the motorcycle gang D.O.A. He was able to shoot for Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi in 1995, Toronto Canada, because he had the Undertaker costume still at home. This was done without the knowledge or consent of the WWF/WWE. Many Bollywood fans were tricked into believing the real Undertaker was in the film. Years later Brian Lee' s friendship with the Undertaker would end on a very bad sour note due to personal reasons. Many claim it was the reason Undertaker got divorced .
